So I even have a little pond, and I'll kill off all of the fish that don't have hearts and then when I sit here on my pelagorness and throw my line though. Fish that have the hearts that you need to catch will specifically ignore the bait even swim away from it. And they'll do this until new fish spawn in and then the new fish that don't have the hearts. Of course, immediately go after the bait. Are they not supposed to go after the date like in? Not specifically swim away from it. I'm playing on official servers and I swear they do I don't know if I can record it but they specifically swim away from the bait until a shitty fish spawns in

You get extra levels with them when you kill alphas while you have them equipped.

Im using the event rod and hearts but only getting regular fish. How do i get the event fish?

they spawn in the ponds. sometimes you need to kill of the regular fish first so they can spawn in

At least that's an improvement :p I just dislike the "press A" and all the other buttons you have to tap. Like suddenly you have to quickly find X or C in the middle of getting a big fish 😅@@TiiaAurora
