@@TheAmateursOriginalMusic we also hate super production and polished records. hate that a lot. i mean we leave background sounds and even little mistakes in our songs. we like to keep it as raw as we can. love that. but the mixes and mastering are the most important. we dont claim we are good at it. trust me, it is very hard to get it right. we are still learning ourselves .... in fact if you listen to our early releases they sound pretty bad. and i mean bad. because we didn't know what we were doing. but we started to work harder at it, trying to understand compression, EQ, and so on. and making lots of different mixes until we got to one that was OK. and every time we got better (at least we hope so) not easy. it is very hard to explain it to you i guess. you just need to. record. and never release the track until you listen to it for a week or more. thats what we do. and every time we realise ok, this is too loud, the snare, too quite, vocals too compressed and so on...
on this track vocals are way too high, justas an example. lower them a bit and take it from there. and then maybe the guitar a bit higher. just remember , dont let the output go to red. very important.

@@TheAmateursOriginalMusic thats what we always try to say to others. it is very hard to do so... because most people just get fucking offended by everything. we prefer that people tell us "look i didn't like this or that" doesn't mean we will stop doing our thing, but when it is honest feedback you kind of know the person or people are right. we remember people telling us the vocals were too muddy and we knew that was the truth. so we worked on it until we got it better. also many people telling us about the snare, had no balls. needed more reverb and compression and so on... if you dont tell people the truth you cant ever get better, not possible, i hope you always tells us the truth, or at least what you feel about it. because trust me we have a lot to learn .... thats for sure mate ... and like we've said , anytime you need help please ask and if we can we will sort you out. you know? also i was thinking , lets work on a song? we have a song that needs vocals, and we thought it would be a great song for you? what you think? anyway you know that there's a lot of BS going on here. its like BS on steroids :P heheheheh
