Throughout the film, Deadpool accuses the studio of not having enough money to pay for several elements in the movie. In fact, Fox Studios cut $7 million out of the film's budget at the last minute, necessitating several rewrites.

Fun Fact: Ryan Reynolds was allowed to keep his Deadpool costume after filming had completed. (Technically he didn't ask to, nor did he give anyone the chance to take it from him.) When 20th Century Fox found out about this, the studio just let him keep it. And I'd say he more than earned it.
a) why would the try to "start beef" with someone who made them lots of money? b) he could do the same as Johnny Depp with his "Jack in the box" costume ... where he goes to children's hospitals to spread some happiness.

Deadpool's 4th power wallbreak isn't just a narrative thing or a gag for the story, it's technically one of his superpowers lol. Ryan Reynolds is from my hometown, which coincidentally is where the movie is filmed. There are so many great landmarks. The fight early in the movie is on the bridge I used to take to work. It's like a guided tour of Vancouver and the taxi driver is also very realistic for Vancouver. There's always a cool Indian taxi driver to take you to your destination. I remember living in on the West End watching them film a lot of the movie, as well as the X-Men movies from my condo. The humour is also very Vancouver. Very sarcastic. Ryan was the perfect guy to play this role. Vancouver has been a location for a lot of movies, especially action movies, going back to the original Highlander TV series and 21 Jump Street. Juno was also filmed near where I used to live in high school. Edit: Yeah, it's rated R. Don't take your daughter to this. Just saying.
I live on Vancouver Island not far from Hatley Castle (the mansion/school in X-men), but I grew up in Toronto, so I know what it's like watching movies and knowing exactly what part of the city it was filmed in. Cinderella Man, Fahrenheit 451 remake, and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World were all filmed in my neighbourhood.
Deadpool can break the fourth wall, which is why you see him talking to the viewer. Most people just think he’s crazy in the comics. Deadpool is not a mutant. He was given the power to regenerate by weapons plus. This is the same corporation that created the super soldier serum and made Captain America. The X-men is an organisation/school for young mutants. Mutants are superhuman beings that are born with a genetic mutation called an X-Gene that causes their bodies to develop abilities that regular humans are unable to. The majority of mutants develop these abilities, which vary from person to person, usually upon puberty, though there are some mutants who display powers and/or physical mutations from birth or in their twenties. Their mutations grant them a variety of special abilities, including flight, teleportation, telepathy, telekinesis, bodily transformation, control over elements, and more.
21:03 Ryan Reynolds was Green Lantern in that failure of a live action movie that's why he mentions not making the suit green or cgi animated. Also afterwards he makes a Jab at X Men Origins Wolverine. Deadpool is basically Marvels version of Deathstroke, they even named him Wade Wilson which rhymes with Slade Wilson
Deadpool is part of the MCU _now_ with the new movie. The first two were part of the Fox Marvel movies prior to Disney buying Fox. That shiny comrade is Colossus. Common fan favorite X Man. He was played by a different guy and had much less of a role in the earlier movies. He’s motion capture in this. That one guy survived the headshot because the bullet got slowed down going though the other guys heads 😂 TJ Miller is Wade’s bartender friend Weasel. He’s not well thought of nowadays due to allegations of some non consual acts. Oh you better believe there’s a female Deadpool. 2 well known ones actually. •Ladypool/Lady Deadpool, a female version of Wade, Wanda Wilson. •Gwenpool, a girl named Gwendolyne Poole, allegedly from the real world who ended up in the Marvel world. The green animated supersuit is a reference to Green Lantern, which Ryan Reynolds starred in, and it wasn’t good. Ajax explained that he had gone through the process already and it gave him enhanced strength and reflexes. The drawback is that it fried his nerves, so he no longer feels anything. The only upside to that is not feeling any pain. Hence his lack of reaction to harm. She does look like Ripley in Alien 3! 🤣 Negasonic is indeed an X Men but not one of the commonly known ones. I’m certain this movie made her more well known. Deadpool’s brain gets a little halluciney when it’s damaged The credit scene parodies the credit scene from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off You should watch Logan before Deadpool & Wolverine drops on streaming
5:50 breakfast actually kickstarts your metabolism for the day rather than it slowly waiting up by lunch… even a small amount of food makes a massive difference
The one day I ate breakfast recently I was *wired* when I got to work and was like “….damn the only thing different about today is that I had breakfast. I should do that more often.”
27:55 not only they can't answers when they are dead, but he is asking them "where is francis?" But all his crew knows him by Ajax so they have no idea who is Wade talking about 🤣🤣
23:32 probably saw it in editing but Francis did go through it and he can't feel physical sensations like pain in addition to having heightened senses. The treat ment affects everyone differently. And Deadpool looks like that because his cancer is being spread by his healing factor. He's in constant pain but can't die from the cancer.
Fun fact about the silver guy (colossus) it took 5 men to bring him ‘alive’. He’s CG but the main body captured is 6’9ft but worn boots to make him 7ft and had a different voice actor
Deadpool is a fourth wall breaking, comic aware parody of DCs Deathstroke. He was supposed to be made fun of DCs biggest mercenary. His antics grew a cult following in the beginning Billy's reaction during the seggs scene is hilarious 😂 (second edit) Peter Cetera sings You're the Inspiration
They kind of did Colossus dirty and yet right at the same time. The movie makes him look like a punk fighting Angel Dust. The two would definitely go round and round in a fight, but she's not choking him out. The "problem" is that Colossus is just too nice a guy. A reluctant fighter. He is only going to fight as hard as he has to. If it was just him and her in a bar brawl, he would probably take the L and just call it a day, but if someone is counting on him (Vanessa here, not DP), he will ramp up his fighting to get the job done... or just take the hits to keep a heavy hitter occupied.
clicked immediately, didn't even question or think about it. Also, saw Deadpool 3 with my mom a few days ago. She enjoyed it even though it's not her type of movie.
Deadpool is technically marvel, he wasn’t part of the marvel movie franchise till recently when Disney starting putting marvel on their platform but he does have some comics where he interacts with spider man and vice visa, if I remember correctly and he mostly falls under the antihero category, not necessarily a good guy but not a villain either
The robe in the end credit is an exact recreation of Faris Buellers Day Out. Also the song you heard Inspiration is by Peter Citera lead singer of The band Chicago
Many of his jokes in these movies involve breaking the fourth wall. For example, when he says "Don't make the super suit green," he's referring to his role in the Green Lantern movie, which he notoriously dislikes.
The end scene was a reference to "Ferris Bueller's Day off" which is an amazing movie with a great soundtrack. With school starting soon you should definitely do a commentary on it! 😊❤
So in short Deadpool canonically from the comics is aware he is a comic book character and can manipulate and mess with the 4th wall because of that. That’s why the credits are like that and the dialogue is very hyper aware
Fun fact: The character Dopinder(the taxi dude who is a friend to Deadpool) was named after Ryan Reynolds' cool childhood friend who he got struck by lightning accident.
When Francis first meets Wade he tells him that he and Angel aslo went through the procedure giving Angel super human strength, and his nerve endings were scorched so he doesn't feel pain.
Oh I'm gonna be that guy "you needed to watch Green Lantern, 127hours, Ferris Buellers Day off, Urban Dictionary for Dutch Oven,9 X me movies, 2 Wolverine movies and Logan before you watched this film LOL. Love your content!!!
Deadpool - still has cancer, and lots of it, which ravages his body. However, he has a bonkers healing factor which patches him up as almost immediately. The only trouble is, he still feels the pain, which makes him even crazier than he was before. Also, he's not super strong or anything, just really good at what he does. Ajax/Francis - kinda the opposite of DP. Stronger, but can't feel anything.
The guy who plays Deadpool's friend Weasel is T.J. Miller who's played in other movies and shows one movie is Ready Player One as i-ROK which was a book turned into a movie
I watched your entire video, including the intro, lol. Loved your reaction to this awesome movie. I see you already have DP2 done. Can't wait to watch! I looked at your other reaction videos, and you've got quite a few. New subscriber!
The green, animated supersuit comment was a callback/constructively critical comment on the Green Lantern movie, another role performed by Ryan Reynolds. Also Colossus is one of the X-men who appeared in the 2nd film (I don't remember if he was in the 3rd or not), but even though Negasonic Teenage Warhead was an X-man in the comics I don't think that she was featured in any of the movies or shows before this, which is likely why she was chosen by the producers because her appearance fit within their limited budget. They had to fight hard to convince the studios to give Deadpool a shot, especially after the negative reception of Green Lantern and X-men Origins: Wolverine, and only managed to get the aforementioned limited budget, but the result is what you've seen here. Now that you've seen this movie you should definitely watch Deadpool 2, of course. However, if possible you might want to first watch X-men 1-3 as well as Logan, as they make some of the jokes in Deadpool 2 make sense and those jokes won't end up spoiling you on these movies. If you've already seen it, however, then it may still be fine as you may get so involved in the viewing that you may not be thinking of those spoiled moments until you're upon them. Anyway glad you enjoyed the movie and I'm looking forward to seeing your next reaction.

Also afterwards he makes a Jab at X Men Origins Wolverine. Deadpool is basically Marvels version of Deathstroke, they even named him Wade Wilson which rhymes with Slade Wilson
The song you were asking about was 'You're the Inspiration' by Chicago, if you haven't already found out yet. I love 80s songs so I get it 💯
Thank you 🙏🏾
You're welcome
It's true, in Spanish we say "El cancer"😅, I have no idea why it's just how our language works😂
Deadpool is the only Marvel comic book character that is self aware and knows he is a comic book character, he breaks the fourth wall often.
That one guy survived the headshot because the bullet got slowed down going though the other guys heads 😂
TJ Miller is Wade’s bartender friend Weasel.
Negasonic is indeed an X Men but not one of the commonly known ones. I’m certain this movie made her more well known.
Deadpool’s brain gets a little halluciney when it’s damaged
The credit scene parodies the credit scene from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
You should watch Logan before Deadpool & Wolverine drops on streaming
@@jonmercano1138 TJ Miller also has the bomb threat and the allegations of beating an Uber driver
@@jspettifer yeah that too
@@jspettiferyeah. He's a tool
Why is a 'live action, evil candy cane' kinda accurate to describe him?🤣
11:03 Well... A dishwasher box is the box where the dishwasher comes in when they deliver it...
😂 hilarious! Thank you
21:01 When Deadpool said don't make the supersuit green or animated
It was a reference to when Ryan Reynolds played as Green lantern😂😂😂
“Who is wang?” took me out 😂😂 21:14
Deadpool is now part of the MCU but at the time when when the first and second film came out it wasn’t because it wasn’t with Disney
The dead pool song was made by a UA-camr when he was trying to make a rap about the dead pool game.
The end credit scene was a Ferris Bueller reference. Was really hoping you'd get that. Great reaction video, so glad you loved it!
I hope he watches it.
The stab to my heart when you said “Deadpool and that guy from the X-men” 💔 😂
5:50 breakfast actually kickstarts your metabolism for the day rather than it slowly waiting up by lunch… even a small amount of food makes a massive difference
The one day I ate breakfast recently I was *wired* when I got to work and was like “….damn the only thing different about today is that I had breakfast. I should do that more often.”
27:55 not only they can't answers when they are dead, but he is asking them "where is francis?" But all his crew knows him by Ajax so they have no idea who is Wade talking about 🤣🤣
Billie's face for the international womens day bit got me 😂😂
When i see dead pool film, and all time he say "what's my name?" I was like "Uma?", in my head i just remenber da music.
Drinking game: Drink every time Billy says “damn”
I’m drunk 😢
23:32 probably saw it in editing but Francis did go through it and he can't feel physical sensations like pain in addition to having heightened senses. The treat ment affects everyone differently. And Deadpool looks like that because his cancer is being spread by his healing factor. He's in constant pain but can't die from the cancer.
Fun fact about the silver guy (colossus) it took 5 men to bring him ‘alive’. He’s CG but the main body captured is 6’9ft but worn boots to make him 7ft and had a different voice actor
super tall dude
Deadpool is a fourth wall breaking, comic aware parody of DCs Deathstroke. He was supposed to be made fun of DCs biggest mercenary. His antics grew a cult following in the beginning
Billy's reaction during the seggs scene is hilarious 😂
(second edit) Peter Cetera sings You're the Inspiration
They kind of did Colossus dirty and yet right at the same time. The movie makes him look like a punk fighting Angel Dust. The two would definitely go round and round in a fight, but she's not choking him out. The "problem" is that Colossus is just too nice a guy. A reluctant fighter. He is only going to fight as hard as he has to. If it was just him and her in a bar brawl, he would probably take the L and just call it a day, but if someone is counting on him (Vanessa here, not DP), he will ramp up his fighting to get the job done... or just take the hits to keep a heavy hitter occupied.
15:32 Billy he said Regina, it’s a real place in Canada
@@nixchelle And I'm about to move there in 5 days 😭😭😭
clicked immediately, didn't even question or think about it. Also, saw Deadpool 3 with my mom a few days ago. She enjoyed it even though it's not her type of movie.
My best friend and I watched Darren's Dance Grooves to specifically learn the Bye Bye Bye dance. It all came rushing back!
13:20 Billy your editor is wild in adding that in 😂 wtf
Yeah i can’t believe he put that in.. but it’s hilarious
Many of his jokes in these movies involve breaking the fourth wall. For example, when he says "Don't make the super suit green," he's referring to his role in the Green Lantern movie, which he notoriously dislikes.
Billy is back with another banger🎉🎉🎉🎉
Billy doing a blind joke, not knowing Blind Al is coming up 😂
I caught that too🤣
To clarify, Deadpool heals from all wounds but can still feel pain while Ajax can't feel any pain but is absolutely mortal
This just in... Billy needs to watch Ferris Bueller's Day Off...
The end scene was a reference to "Ferris Bueller's Day off" which is an amazing movie with a great soundtrack. With school starting soon you should definitely do a commentary on it! 😊❤
The song is You’re the Inspiration by Chicago. It’s an amazing song
Didn't know I needed this, but I needed it 😂😂😂 sending you love Billy!
Omg just in time for me to eat and watch😂 Love you reactions ❤❤❤
The end credit scene is taken from Ferris Buellers day off. Which you should totally watch btw.
When Francis first meets Wade he tells him that he and Angel aslo went through the procedure giving Angel super human strength, and his nerve endings were scorched so he doesn't feel pain.
The post-credit scene pays homage to "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and it's post-credit scene.
Deadpool is a parody of the DC character Deathstroke, also known as Slade. You may know him from Teen Titans.
Oh I'm gonna be that guy "you needed to watch Green Lantern, 127hours, Ferris Buellers Day off, Urban Dictionary for Dutch Oven,9 X me movies, 2 Wolverine movies and Logan before you watched this film LOL. Love your content!!!
Let's go! I've been waiting for this!
Not I got the Mint Mobil add before the video started 😂❤
The guy who plays Deadpool's friend Weasel is T.J. Miller who's played in other movies and shows one movie is Ready Player One as i-ROK which was a book turned into a movie
Can’t wait for you to watch the second one!
I watched your entire video, including the intro, lol. Loved your reaction to this awesome movie. I see you already have DP2 done. Can't wait to watch! I looked at your other reaction videos, and you've got quite a few. New subscriber!
"i played outside" ouch shots fired
so after the naughty scene a plumping gremlin commercial Came On. lol
That song you sang, "take your baby by the hand", is Dance Hall Days by Wang Chung not Wham!
Hey Billy, the song you were singing is called "Dance hall days" by Wang Chung. Wham sings Careless Whisper.
12:43 The face of realization 🤣🤣🤣
"Empire?? You talkin about the show with Cookie?"
Oh, you ARE adorable.
I facepalmed so hard at that.
Your video make me all the time laugh😂😂
Your support keeps me going
@@Pinkgalaxy2777 For real though, that PH joke devastated me. I couldn't breathe.
I’m so happy to see this, I was just looking for Deadpool reactions today
Billy I swear you would love the Kickass movies 😭🙏🏾 #bingers
Those are so underrated fr!, I know Billy would love them!
I love how Deadpool is going around asking where is Francis but nobody knows this guy's name except for Deadpool. Maybe if he said where's Ajax somebody could've told him 😂😂😂
Saw in theatres with my family....the regret during those first 30mins was real, but once we got past that, it was a golden experience😂🤣👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾!
In Francis’s case, the treatment fried his nerve endings so he can’t feel pain. Deadpool can still feel pain. He just heals.
I'm so glad you liked the movie! I thought you would 👍🏾 👍🏾

The big joke about him going around asking for "Francis" and not getting answers is because no one knows who "Francis" is. They only know him as Ajax.
So they had no idea who tf Deadpool was talking about. 😂
