  • Enjoy the colorful combination of a purple background with violet highlights and a country cart over flowing with a vibrant array of flowers. Designed for the beginning artist in mind Ginger shows you step by step how to layer the colors, sketch in the cart and make your flowers be bright and colorful.
    Why does it look a bit like another flower cart tutorial we painted earlier? This flower cart and the the one Flower cart we demonstrated earlier this year are a great side by side as diptych art.
    Paintings that can be combined with another or the same subject make wonderful pairs to be hung together on the same wall.
    8x10 canvas.
    magenta is a must have color for this painting.

    Ginger, when I was a kid, I used to watch Jon Gnagy and Bob Ross. I didn't have paints or brushes so I didn't learn to paint, but I loved to draw. Now I'm 73 years old and I have found You Tube. So many artists and so much instruction. I'm learning to paint and I'm loving it. You are such a good teacher and artist. Thank you for helping folks like me. I love your paintings and instruction. Thank you so much!

    Another great tutorial Ginger. You do super paintings that can be paired up or, as in the case of the kitchen paintings and flower in vases, a whole series that go together. I love them all. Your lessons are so easy to follow too. I am learning a lot as I watch you and I am very grateful that I am part of the Academy family. Travel safely. Hugs to you and Jon xxxx

    I am really excited to do the duet of paintings. I think they will be wonderful together. So when I start one I will also start the other. Thanks SO much for doing this tutorial! I hope you have a great trip and have some fun! Eat good food and see the sights. Big ART Hugs to both you and Jon.

      Do them both at the same time and put the backgrounds touching so it looks like one painting.... brush strokes going between the across the canvas... works like a charm and when separated they match.

    • @gingercooklive
      @gingercooklive  6 років тому

      Oh, that is a wax paper gray tablet tear off, and I get them at Jerrys artarama.com and made by SOHO which is a jerrys brand. we like the gray color as the lighter shades of paint show up nicely
