Love the commitment to getting the thing heat treated. That is a big piece of steel.

Hi. looked through) .. so much work with stoves))) ... Thank you, I look forward to continuing .. Yes, I agree, it’s safer to buy a factory one). But still it can come in handy) .. Plus, if you make the norm to catch bullet fragments, and use proven steel, then it should be more or less)))

Love it man! I’ve thought of building a forge and trying to make a knife out of some tool steel.

not that hard i built one! get a anvil form harbor freight a good 2 to 3 pound mini sledge a ball pein a pair of 12 or 14 inch channel locks for tongs a couple files and chisels that's all the tools you need to get started! a vise is a nice to have but not really needed though! there's plenty of vids on here showing how to make one specially solid fueled ones! cat';s cradle forge has a couple good ones on building your first forge. by the way files make fantastic knives and if you look around flea markets for them they're cheaper than tool steel!

@@panchopistola8298 i was like you at first mind my own business until i found out they were scalp deep with killery in that russia bullshit for one then them buying off mush brains through meth boy's no show board seat and then on top of that i find out the first javelins trump sent them ended up with beijing who copied them in less than a year along with every other high tech weapon they had! and they've been backing every anti gun rights politician they find in DC since they got their independence! at that point it became a blood feud level event! i see this war as divine retribution they asked for! (and you don't want to know what that little turd of a president that comes across as a whiny little spoiled bitch saying whatever it thinks will get it help does to my fuse either!!) as for the border if i had my way we'd take about 10 miles of mexican territory send in the engineers have them dig a series of shafts gulf coast to pacific coast bury 350 kiloton bombs in the shafts set them off and dig us a mile plus wide moat that is 500 feet deep and then plant minefields on both sides of it!
