@evrrrs exactly! People remember the bad beats when they're on the losing end, but conveniently ignore the situations when they do the outdrawing or make those special hands. The determination is made at the point that substantially all the money is committed. There is no "after the flop" here since all 5 cards are coming, the order is irrelevant.
I placed 6th in a tournament last week ace clubs king diamonds vs ace hearts king of clubs all in pre flop from both of us 4 hearts on the board for the other guy giving him a flush only suit that could’ve done it to me 😂
Moon had a straight. A2345 The ace can be used as the highest or lowest card in the deck. Andrew had a pair of aces. Straight is worth more than a pair of any cards.
They may have factored in dead cards. The less A's K's and clubs are dead, the higher the equity of the AK clubs is. But they really shouldn't show it that way.

Can't be a bad beat when the better hand won
Exactly what I was going to comment.
Nah, slight favorite to the guy who lost. Not quite a coin flip. Was a slightly bad beat, to be precise.
@bobjoe8182 no...coin flip is 2 overs vs pocket pair. always has been defined that way and always will be. A bad beat is significantly worse odds.
Losing a flip isn't a "brutal bad beat"...
Especially when the best hand going in won
@@rolandkennedy80that’s not true. Can you read? It says the guy who lost had a 51% chance to win, which means he has the best hand going in
After the flop it was no longer a flip.
@@andrewchisholm3476
They got it all in before the flop. A bad beat is when you get it in when you're way ahead and still lose.
Is it an "authentic" bad beat? No... but it's a pretty bad loss after what seems to be a really good chance to win at 71% on the flop.
All in pocket 4's is ballsy. What a win
It’s a tournament. Tournament short-stack strategy is very different from cash game strategy.
Its a tournament its actually a very good hand
Flipped over AK like it was pocket aces. You got Ace high and flipping.
