Sheesh why do they make this so unnecessarily tricky compared to a Golf? Thanks for this.
Thank you for the video, in my case Audi A3 8PA 2008 1,9TDI, i took off the whole switch out, removed the buttons, cleaned and sprayed with contact spray, return everything back and works like new since spare part didnt fit
Excellent! Nice when you can fix instead of replace!

When installing the new one, it's 1,000x easier to attached the electrical plug before installing the switches into the door
Hi, do you have a video on how to replace the master widow switch on a Audi Q5 2014 Model?
Are the left hand drive switches and right hand drive switches the same?
Yes they work I just installed a left hand drive switch in my right hand drive A4
How does the trim on the top come off? Pry it off with a interior trim tool?
Hey there! Unfortunately not :-(
You can remove the entire handle if you remove the door card (see our vid on UA-cam), it's just screw on through the rear of the door card. That's probably your best option.
Best of luck!

Great Video
My Audi does not have four buttons in the main door but only two ,just for two front windows not as your Audi in the video ,so how should I do ,how to replace only the two buttons ?
Hey there! Yes, it sounds like you do not have rear electric windows. The same removal process should apply however, so get stuck in, and best of luck! :-)

On the window master switch can one button fail and the rest still operate ? I have already replaced regulator and motor last thing to try for me is the switch
Hey there! Yes, it is indeed possible. Each switch on the master switch as it's own microswitch mechanism, and that is the most likely thing to fail on a single switch within the master switch.
So hopefully a new master switch and you should be good :-)

Total Technik HI I have a 08 A4 2.0t can't lock or unlock Doors keeps draining battery any ideas ?
yes it was the case in my car, you can try to take it off, clean, spray it with contact spray and should work
McDonald's coke fell years ago on my switches in my 2008 audi a3 it's 2020 and the stickiness goes away and comes back.. Any easy way to clean em without removing all that crap?
No real easy way unfortunately. The switches are quite cheap on eBay either genuine used or non-genuine versions, so best to get a new switch ahead of removing the door card and then just get stuck in. You'll have it changed in half an hour (maybe an hour if it's your first time working on the door cards).
