Very good video thanks. I replaced the front door wiring loom today and now the electric window doesn't go all the way down.Is this possible that the new wiring loom prevent the window going down?Maybe the wiring in wrong place or something 🤔

Any clue whether the harness is the same in the B6 and B7 models? Outwardly, it looks like it, but I really don't know. (FWIW: When I look up window switches (something that plugs into it) on ECS, it shows that the B7 one is not compatible with the B6 (and vice-versa). Not sure how accurate this is, though, or whether it is even relevant to the harness.)
Hey there! Yes, the physical parts of it are the same between B6 and B7 so this guide applies to both. There may be wiring differences between B6 and B7, but physically the construction is identcial. --- To help support us (for both you and others reading this) there are a few things you can do: 1) Donations both needed and welcome! hi, on my a3 {57} i had the "door not closed" light on the dash, i decided to replace the door mech with a new one, but i still seem to have the "door not closed" light on the dash, but not as frequent as before replacing the the old mech, do you think i have a broken wire in the door loom? Thanks for great video, +sub
Yes, it's a definite possibility. You have have a wire that is in the process of breaking due to constant movement. It's fairly common, but not usually too bad on this platform. Worth a visual inspection for sure.
