I enjoy saving my ribbons from my different things. In fact, I used to save my ribbons from my fresh cut flowers I bought and put on my suitcases so they were easy to find at the airport. ❤❤😊😊 Looking forward to the witch gnome and map projects. Happy 4th 🎆🎇
Me too. They have regular thread but I’m nervous about trying It. I’m happy with the MSQC thread and the colors available so I’m not too tempted to try the brother brand thread. Now if It were actually from the Brother sewing machine company then 🤷♀️
I definitely save the ribbons. I pieces of ribbon are so useful! I usually buy yardage so I don't I don't have many of the special ribbons yet but I have started buying more precut bundles. 😊
It would be nice if they added ribbon for large bits of yardage but that’s just dreaming. I’d pay for certain specialty ribbons by the yard if they offered them.
You could even go super simple with paint or sharpies. I looked this morning and it’s on sale for just under $10 I believe. I almost bought a second just because 🤣
I save the ribbons, too...but I don't get many of them! I need to try their thread. One thing about them...I have ordered solid fabrics from them, and both times they have the name of their color on them...I forget how they labeled them but I so loved that.
@@rsislandcrafts I have never seen a sold or a batik that has info on it...of course, early on I might not have noticed. And there may be some that do...just saying I haven't seen any. I used to not care for solids and now just love them...but haven't started really using them. When I was a kid, though, I really thought it was something to be able to find a solid that matched the print.

I always save the ribbon. Love all the projects you’re going to be doing.
Too many ideas and never enough time 🧵✂️

That’s a smart idea. Anything to make your suitcase stand out.
Loved seeing what you got and cant wait to see everything you make. That glow in the dark thread intrigues me.

Just saw this. I'm a bit slower than usual. I like the USA map. You could use all kinds of ways to decorate it

Nice video!
Thanks!

Having the name on the solids is very helpful. Solids don’t always have a selvage with actual information on It.

Me either. When I bought a bunch of wide backing in blender colors there want information on those selvages either. It’s all a guessing game 🤣
