Sinking or water level, rising? They are opposites.
Both happening at the same time.
Menurut kajian di universiti konoha..org Indonesia senang di bodohin di dunia😂
Nusantara for suku nusantara. The others are not welcome. That is right. Jokowi please listen to this.
Nusantara actually means the whole Indonesian archipelago. Who do you mean by "the others"? People from overseas?
WESTERN MEDIA ALWAYS REPORT BAD THINGS ABOUT INDONESIA ! JAKARTA IS DOING WELL AND IS EVEN GETTING MORE DEVELOPED AND RICH.
That might be true. But there’s is no denying the awful truth that is sinking
Don't blame the western media in reality the gap between the poor and the Rich is too big in Jakarta, many live in a nice house while other live under the Bridge

bruh did this documentary will make 100 part episode jakarta sinking again... recycle and reuse strategy, bbc will make title jakarta sinking, later vice, later cnn, cna so on
Jakarta isn't sinking. Ocean levels are rising. There's a big difference
not really. Sea levels are indeed rising , but at a much slower rate (around 3-4 mm / year) compared to the rate at which Jakarta is sinking (around 10 to 30 cm / year). The sinking of Jakarta is mainly due to massive pumping of groundwater, because most people in Jakarta are not connected to the main water supply system. The documentary says that Jakarta will be underwater by 2050 because of global warming, but this is completly misleading, it is essentially because of its sinking that Jakarta will be underwater.
@@demalmasan7540 Thank you for the explanation!
Underground water being pumped out also create cavities
They need the poor in the rich city to clean
Doesnt look like indonesia we see in other indonesian channel.
The title of this documentary is a bit misleading. The ground is sinking due to the weight of the city and the sinking land. This has nothing to do with rising sea levels.
Both.
Jakarta is sinking because of both factors. A lot of the population have no access to clean water. They use undergound water. The acquifer is not filled back due to the city is now filled with roads, building and steels. So it is sinking. At the same time. North Jakarta is being hammered by rising sea levels.
@@mnizammasoodyes excessive ground water extraction and the rising sea level making the sinking rate a lot faster.
@@Love_garden832 indonesia know the problem but still can't think out the solution. then stop usinh underground water, built proper damn to supply the water.
@@bearybear66Exactly. But they are not doing anything and focused on moving away to IKN. However they planned that after IKN they will built massive garuda sea wall structures surrounding north Jakarta to prevent the sea water from rising. By then I guess, will be too late or tbh I don't think they will have the budgets to do it since now they are facing problem with IKN funding.
The place is so deplorable
aikk..bukan ke dah masuk G20 ???
G20 hanya untuk bergaya tak ada hasil apa apapun 😂
Netherlands 26% daerahnya dibawah sea level. So what klo jkt dibawah sea level.
Tp udahlah malas debat.
WHY is the land sinking?
The aquifer below the city is being pumped out faster than it refills.
The San Joaquin Valley in California has sunk something like 6 feet because of aquifer pumping.
Too many people and tall building.
The city lays below sea level.
too much aquifer drainage and unstable soil.
Massive extraction of ground water due to insufficient piped clean water system.
Bangkok/Thailand is facing the same problem, unstable soil due to massive groundwater depletion!
Super zorokk. Usir orang-orang yang sulit diatur oleh negara di jakarta !!!!
Time to move guys..

the goverment move the capital but not the resident,so its just save them self..will come the time went sea level rising high enough and the wall collapsed trust me many will die

"environmentalist", huh. Just people sitting on their ivory tower yelling at other other people's effort of trying to do anything.
what have these people achieved? Do they even go clean those polluted river & beaches, do they help people in needs, do they even have authority in making real changes? No, they just talk.
All this means is that Tarzan and his many friends will have to relocate to either Bali or Singapore.
