Sorry for audio issues, my mic crapped out during the unboxing and I had to cut a ton of footage. Thanks for understanding. Promise to never have these issues again. 🙏🏻

    Cool vid.
I’ve got a lot of thoughts on it (haven’t held hand on).
These things look interesting but I bet in like a year they’re going to be less than $150 on sale and probably cheap refurbished sooner than that from people with bad network returning them. $200 is not a bad price considering it’s already a dualsense which is $70 by itself.
5-6 hours is kind of meh for a streaming only device but oh well.
Still wish sony would make a PSVITA/PSP 2 with actual native games on the go. At 720p30 and the zen chips we have now like in the Steam deck it’s potentially even possible to have normal PS5 games running portably if Sony has devs account for it tbh.
Lastly, it would be cool if they implemented some Wii U type shit where you could see a game map or inventory while playing on your TV, just so it has some kind of use while you are able to use the TV. This is kind of a missed opportunity from Sony IMO, i’m sure many more would be buying this even people who don’t fight over the TV

Thanks! Yeah I totally agree with all your points! It’s great in certain circumstances but overall huge missed opportunity. Would’ve loved for them to have taken more time creating something less WiFi and streaming centric. Without WiFi it’s totally useless but when it works it does work great. For someone with a significant other it has some value but besides that it has less. I also didn’t mention in the video but you cannot watch tv or streaming services through the device or from the ps5 on your tv if you’re gaming with it. I’m sure for some people that’s self explanatory but I was kinda bummed about that since I like to use my PlayStation for that. Luckily I have a smart TV but it does feel half baked to a degree.
