    Browns and Bears kept it respectable and gave themselves a chance to win against 2 SB contenders. Quite surprising.

    • @basketballj1000
      @basketballj1000 7 років тому +8

      Platium King I would not say they dominated. The browns are young and developing the Steelers are pretty stacked. If you can only beat the Browns by three that is far from dominating.

      Moviefan123 browns was only in the game because of the refs

    • @basketballj1000
      @basketballj1000 7 років тому +3

      Elijah Teputepu No they weren't. The refs gave the Steelers plenty of calls. Don't try and say everything is the refs fault because the Steelers did not play good against a team that went 1-15 last year. Give the Browns some credit. I mean there's the catch at the end which I think can be debated whether or not it was actually a catch. The NFL needs to be much more specific on what is actually considered a catch.

      Dreaded_Pegasus The line is good. That's the first time the group has played together including preseason. They screwed up and they're supposed to be the top line in the league. It was embarrassing. Kizer needs to throw it away because he never had any receivers open.

    Alot of so called fans ain't giving the Browns no credit... We gave them the game with the blocked punt... 4 of Kizer's sacks were his fault holding onto the ball instead of throwing it away or throwing to check down backs, rookie mistakes... Bell's rushing day coincided with our defense being more physical than their offense... A couple of A. Brown's catches were lucky... Great catches none the less, especially great concentration... Kizer's only pick was a missed throw to a open receiver for a touchdown, another rookie mistake... & the Steelers shut our strength down, our running game... Kizer went 20/30 222yds 1Rushing TD 1Passing TD 1INT In a rookie debut loss 21-18... & Were not even gonna talk about the wide open drops, especially by Kenny Britt that killed a drive we could've taken the lead with... Our young team will only get better as they play more... Go Browns...

      @henrybiggs5620 7 років тому +1

      BlondeKnight / I respect that honesty...!!! We lost the game, but the narrative of fans dismissing our play as the Steelers playing bad is just bad perspective... The Steelers players themselves said last year, they don't listen to the national media's narrative that it's an automatic W... They said we were physical & competitive last year, but we still didn't have the talent to beat them yet... Antonio Brown did some amazing things yesterday, with luck on his side a couple times... But I'm not even focusing on that as to why we lost... Antonio Brown does that to every team in the league...💯💯💯

      That steeler pass rush and 7 sacks along with his slow processing made going through his progression hard-to-impossible. They need to cut the playbook down and let him get used to NFL regular season speed, that said this is not a terrible team, just bad but on the rise. I don't think Runing QBs loast but that;s another conversation. He'll either get it or won't. We will known in the next year or two if he can stay on the field. He was second round pick so not a big bust if he fails. Give him the season and see if he grows and stays pretty healthy. If not then cut him and draft another QB and some more weapons.

    In just 1 game, Kizer already showed more potential than Tim Couch, Brady Quinn, Brandon Weeden, and Johnny Manziel ever did. I think the Browns may have actually found their guy. He has a serious issue with holding onto the ball too long and his release point looks a bit shaky, but those things are easily fixable, and he has a lot of positives in terms of his intangibles. He doesn't panic, he looks poised, he has a strong arm, and he seems to be able to make all the throws. He also seems like a high character guy, and if he puts the work in, the Browns definitely have a future franchise QB.
