I would just like to say, thank you so much for making a video series on this. I'm 17 and my dad kept a Morris minor for me that I picked out from his garage when I was 5. It's a 1958 2 door and this video series has helped me learn so much as I didn't know a thing about older cars before watching this series. I would love to see more videos!! Keep up the good work. Thanks again for how much you have helped me out!
Just check the rust remover/sealer combo liquid. Some paints are not compatible with overcoating it. On my MGB I switched from using that stuff, to just using rust convertor (phosphoric acid). As someone said in the last video, instead of using flap wheels which also take metal off, try using the purple/blue poly wheels. They strip the paint easily without affecting the subsurface metal.
Quite fancy with the paint brush. When people placed job ads in newspapers years ago it was so commen to read Pro English Brush painter . Yes everyone wanted an English painter because they were known to be the best painters . Yep I can definitely see why 👍
I wish you had continued your naming and number sequence from part 23. I really struggled to find thie next episode and wondered where this one it fitted in. But in the description is the list up to part 23.
Hi There, I just bought a Morris Minor 1964 convertible and will start work on it shortly. So in preparation, have been watching as much as I can find on UA-cam. I just binge watched all your vids up to No. 23. Are there any more showing the the completion of the car? As the last one seems to be a few years ago.
I found it funny the owner was polishing it up as your putting the carb in! What were the sparks when you put battery in - just the lead shorting out? Good work I hope the chap apprechiates it 👍
Hi there ,from Canada working on a 37 Morris saloon , you were talking about where you got your repair panels from England (bull motive) I think. Do you have a website for them. I'm in desperate need of door sills.
A bit of work here and there will get it completed buddy. I know working on old cars brings up a lot of extra work you weren't planning on. Rust is a cruel beast.
There are a few spots on my shit box I wish i had painted rust converter on after sand blasting. The rust has come back through in a few spots. If you put epoxy over this I would spray some of that stone chip stuff on top of it. I'm going to do the same in my rear wheel arches. However tough the epoxy is it does seem to abrade away somewhat.
Well done Jonathan, let me know how you re vin your car when you get to that stage. I've got to re vin my 1949 lowlite at some stage. I've never done it before. Allan

Its a shame that you stopped working on this

What an absolutely bloody riveting video. You make it sound a chore doing videos and this one certainly was a chore to watch
When are we going to see the next update, please?!
Good to see you're back into the Morrie mate!
Cheers Mate. Hopefully I can start making some progress
Good to see it moving again.
Thanks Terry

The trick with painting is to get as much paint slapped on as possible so it runs and makes a mess 👍🤣
You Sir are doing a Good work! Greetings from a Rover p4 owner from Poland!
Awesome. Thank you!
Great job Jonathan! That's laborious work there! It's all in the prep work they say but I don't think I'd have the patience 🙈😂😂

When the Texas Speed turbo LS goes in I'm not sure stone chip will protect from the shredded tyres 🤣🤣
@@Badgertronix Badgertronix/Skid Factory cross over confirmed.
How did you go with the passenger door jamb wing?
Prep and painting can be very tiring and it can take some time to get back to match fitness.
It's a noisy and dirty job but I'll get there. Cheers
good stuff...

Where do you source the new panels for the morris?
Bull motif but they don't sell them anymore. Cheers
