- carbohydrates are classified into three main groups 1-Monosaccharides 2-Oligosaccharides and 3- Polysaccharides. This video lecture will cover the comprehensive discussion on monosaccharide. There are a lot of structures that are seems difficult for the students all that are explained well in this lecture.

In ribo pentose fifth carbon hydrogen remains on left side so in ribopentonose (round structure) fifth carbon hydrogen will be on the above side according to haworth structure left is above and right is below ...... Hope sir u will point it out

All are same...
Sir ribose k andar hm bond carbon 1 and 4 k between banate....... jb k glucose ma 1 and 5 k between........... 1 and 5 hi q...... carbon 1 and 3 k between bond q nahi bn sakta....?????

Assalamualaikum sir. I am Ali Raza from Sahiwal. Sir we learned that in monosaccharides, carbon ranges from 3 to 7. But on text book on page 21it is written the general formula for monosaccharides and that is....(CH2O)n. Where n is 3 to thousands. Sir if we apply the value of n up to thousands, then this formula will not remain in the range of monosaccharides_ie_ (3to7). Sir please solve my confusion. Thank you sir.
