Owen Schmitt breaking down into tears as the Pride strikes up Country Roads...chills every single time. Probably the high water mark for WVU football. The team was an absolute buzzsaw that night, after the heartbreak vs Pitt, Rodriguez abandoning them, Coach Stew (RIP) had those boys seeing red and frothing at the mouth...leave no doubt

I remember that game so well. All the young men on that team truly exemplified the Mountaineer ❤ that night. I believe the current head coach has been bringing that back.
The high flying, ground running, left arm slinging,3-3-5 stacking, sacking machines!!! Its the gold and the blue and were coming for you :) lets Goooooo!!!!
We beat Oklahoma that year because the play calling was somewhat fair, beam ahead to WVU in the big 12 and the officiating is not close for WVU we beat them this past year because they are leaving the big 12 so their 20 + point home and away advantage is gone, close to the same with all of the big 12 WVU is the preverbal home and away ref and judge advantages are on and the older teaams from the big 12 win all ties in the officiating.........

True. So close to winning a National Title 😢
Pat White right behind Owen! Awesome!
2:04:08 I love how the commentator says "Pat White is a walking 40-yard gain," and 1 play later he pops a 40 yard run LMAO

.Great game thanks Couch STU
We also lost OC Calvin Magee a little over two years ago. I wasn't aware of Calvin's passing until Rich Rod's press conference last week.
was not expecting to see a young Pat Mcafee one minute in
