I'm glad you found all those items with your new NEL coil. However I am a bit confused on the concept here. That AT PRO coil that comes with it, you should be able to find ALL those items with it. I say this because I live where the soil is very ferrous and my ground balance setting for the AT PRO here is between 93 and 94, extremely high because of the iron content in the soil. Also, isn't a larger coil suppose to penetrate deeper depths than a smaller coil? So far the NEL coil just isn't blowing my skirt up as far as depth is concerned. Perhaps you will find deeper targets as time goes by. Good luck and good hunting.
+nmsidewinder ... It goes about 3 to 4 inches deeper.. In a open big field, The big coil can cover more ground faster... I been using the big coil more lately and I can tell a lot more difference, I been finding more stuff in the same area's where I been over a million times...
nmsidewinder You actually have very low mineralization in your area in the 90's range. The more mineralization the lower the number on the Pro. If you don't believe me take it to a fresh water beach and ground balance, it will be anywhere between 15 an 20 do to the sand.
+Field Sweeper .......... Get the Deus.. Its better.. Thats my next detector Im going to get... The larger coil for the ATpro is ok.. But not what I thought it would be.. But then again I haven't use it that much becuz of the weight...
I just go a 15x17 core coil for my AT Max, haven't tried it yet, thanks for this video, can't wait to see what happens.

How do you find pinpointing using a big coil. I am thinking about getting a bigger coil do you notice the difference in weight.
