Hello Elaine! I miss your Patreon channel. I have just viewed this video again as I want a facial so it’s a great reminder as I remember watching it when it first came out! Lots of love. Jackie 😊
So lovely to hear from you Jackie! I always love our chats ❤️ Hope all is good & look forward to more chatting in the future. Who knows what could be next after Patreon? xx
I just love listening to you speak about anything but this was really informative! I really enjoyed learning how to do at home facials and save money on going to salons! You are literally my fave person on UA-cam ❤❤❤❤
Thank you very much! New Sub here, I'm loving your vids! Such a great educational video, your explanations are well....perfect. On occasion I give my husband a facial to relax him, he loves it. From this and one of your other facial videos I have learnt some new techniques that I am sure he will enjoy. But I will confess, I came here to relax with your video. Right now during a pretty heavy time of stress, you've given me some calm relaxing times. Lastly, I have suffered from milia all my life, nothing I have used has made a difference. I have had them removed professionally a few times but they always come back, honestly I'm not so bothered by them but wondered if you have any recommendations? Kind regards, Jody the Australian in Germany.
You're so kind Jody! I'm really happy to hear that the videos are helping practically but also to keep you calm (I know the feeling). As you say milia is a common occurrence for you, it's likely to be something that you'll always be susceptible to and it could be genetics and a mix of your skin type, slow cell turnover and products used. You can never know 100% why when it's always been there. Take a look at adding an exfoliator to your routine containing glycolic acid or salicylic acid as these can help to prevent the buildups which cause the milia :)
So beautiful, relaxing and informative. Thank you ! (hope you don't find this rude but the occipital bone is not the "eye bone". Occipital bone is in the back of the head)
Thanks Clara! Great spot about me re-naming the orbital bone as the occipital bone - I only did that to make sure that you were paying attention lol! x
If you watch the basic facial demo on the channel, an express version starts with cleansing, finishes with moisturising and the middle part is whatever you're looking for in that particular facial (scrub/mask/massage etc.). The method doesn't change but the overall timing is shorter, around 30-45 minutes rather than the usual 1-1.30hrs :)
I watch this when I need to de-stress. Watching the elegant hand moves and listening to her voice really relaxes me.

@@homespabeauty Thank you very very much :)
Elaine, suitable for men?
Absolutely & any scent is botanical and not floral, so it wouldn't feel heavily perfumed (like some products can) :)

clara mocchetti she meant orbital bone :)
Thanks Jen! When your brain says orbital and your mouth says occipital - doh! :)

How do you do an express facial

@@homespabeauty thanks doll
These prices are reasonable and they give US prices cause I’m just too lazy to click on over to google and find the exchange. 😬
That's definitely a bonus - I know exactly what you mean :)
