For super-dog BOLT (voice of JOHN TRAVOLTA), every day is filled with adventure, danger and intrigue-at least until the cameras stop rolling. When the star of a hit TV show is accidentally shipped from his Hollywood soundstage to New York City, he begins his biggest adventure yet-a cross-country journey through the real world to get back to his owner and co-star, Penny (voice of MILEY CYRUS). Armed only with the delusions that all his amazing feats and powers are real, and the help of two unlikely traveling companions-a jaded, abandoned housecat named Mittens (voice of SUSIE ESSMAN) and a TV-obsessed hamster named Rhino (voice of MARK WALTON) -- Bolt discovers he doesnt need superpowers to be a hero.

I acknowledge Miley Cyrus for voice acting in this well-written film. I mean, she can sing and act on-screen, but her voice acting is what captured my attention. I'd give her 5 stars.
I saw this movie last night for a sneak preview screening and without a doubt, Bolt is AWESOME.
Go watch it! Bolt does not disappoint!

That frisbee bomb took way longer than a minute to go off, even with the slow-motion and multi-angle scenes.

Instead of the military calling in an air-strike... Call in the SUPER BARK.
That's the point! Much of the movie is over the top, and this part is supposed to be even more so; it's in the first five minutes of the film and helps set up the character's expectations. Things get ever so slightly more believable directly afterward. :-)

I agree. I practically despise Miley Cyrus, but I went and saw the movie nonetheless, and I wasn't disappointed in the least. You focus more on the characters themselves than who is behind the voice. Bolt didn't necessarily have the constant knee-slapping humor that Pixar always creates [ie - Finding Nemo], but it had its moments and was still very cute.

Saw this entire chase scene at Comic Con '08, it wasn't fully rendered or completed yet. There were still storyboard sketches and unrendered footage remaining in the entire sequence (it was a rough cut after all).
Yes, i too prefer Prick-eared dogs rather than lop-eared ones and ones that have long thick furry tails.

For once, Disney did not try to use an old story and rehash it into something new. This entire movie's story should all go to Chris Sanders since he originally wrote the story (wtiter, director, and voice actor of Stitch).

If this movie won the Best Original Song category at the Golden Globes, then the press and media will begin to gloat in actress Miley Cyrus' first win (no teen, let alone kid ever won a Globe at all), not that I'm against it.
For example, her upcoming Hannah Montana movie, the voice-over would have said something like "Walt Disney Pictures presents, Golden Globe winner Miley Cyrus..."

but the animation looks AWESOME. i still won't consider it as disney animation since it's probably done by the pixar staff.

This scene just doesn't make any sense. All this stuff should happen in a studio, but the scene is an entire city. And all his powers... super speed, super jump? I'm quite sure he would've noticed if they put wires on him...
