This makes me miss my little place in the mountains in Cebu. You don't need AC just the cool mountain breezes flowing through your cottage. The farmers deliver vegetables and fruits to my house and it's so cheap. They also cook native delicacies and sell it to me first before they go to the market and sell their products in the tabo. I feel so blessed and guilty sometimes when I stay there.
Can't wait to go home to visit my Filipino mother in the mountains. We live on top of mountains(not the actual top but on the flat surfaces of the mountains). We live in the 3 points. 3 barangays on a triangular pattern which what is inside the 3 points is a lonely hill called the sleeping beauty with barangays around it. The valley has unlimited food supply and water. You can bathe as long as you want unlike in the cities. The water comes from the peak of the mountains. The good about the northern Philippines is that it is the coldest part of the country. Hot in the summer but in Ber months, it's is so cold that you need to wear thick clothes.
I've recently subscribed to this channel. I was able to hear your voice for the first time during one of the videos you took for the Foreigner in the Philippines. Anyways, I'm your new subscriber watching in from Saipan.
My God the motor bikers. It disturbs the peace and quiet and tranquility of this innocent place. In the late 70's or was it early 80's when I was young we walked and climbed short cut from Guadalupe to the hills in Lahug where Boy Scout Camp Marina used to be. There were no roads, no electricity and was almost uninhabited except for less than 10 houses, very peaceful and quiet and yet it was not very far away from the city. I thought to myself someday I shall build a house here. But in 2011 I went there I couldn't even find the place anymore. I looked up for overlooking properties and they are all the developed by real estate companies and very expensive. I don't want to spend all my pension on a house, so forget it for me. I'll just look for unexplored mountains and see what I can do.
There are a few areas that are unexploited here on farmer Willy's place due to the only access is a footpath and those motorbikers only comes often Sundays but most of the time it us quite and only nature you can hear.
Back to villages and the wild. "Thea sister" giving ligo to her barbies, how sweet! This is a gorgeous video. Video quality is perfect as well! Thanks a lot VPP, and congrats!
That one guy's bike is already smoking white (oil and some fluid/ liquid are mixing). Definitely needs a new gasket/overhaul. The bike needs to be put to pasture.
