Is a glade plug in plus refill the same as a normal glade plug in refill

I finally bought it and I love it! It give my bathroom a crisp, fresh smell. The light is nice touch too; when the kids wake up at night to use the bathroom they can find the switch easily.
My indicator light is not blinking and the oil is empty
Can the light be shut off

I just bought two of these. getting them tomorrow.
I thought that when you switch it to 16 hours that it's supposed to shut off at that time but I don't think mine does because I thought the light dims off and off while its on rest. Can you tell me how it works please?
When you switch it on to 16 hours, for the 8 hour resting period the light should fade in and out in the rest cycle but it will still be on. The light will turn to blue when almost empty

What does the Glade plug-in switch on the side does? the 16 & 24
It’s the hours a day it runs. If you turn it to the 16 option it will turn off for 8 hours a day every day. Can basically set it up to where in turns off in the middle of the night for 8 hours

depending on the setting it can last up to a month
