That’s a very good point! It’s funny how PDFs are such a dividing topic. When I launched my own rules there was a lot of discussion around PDF only or having printed copies! Thanks for your support!
@@TsCreativeRamblings what's funnier is we've had conversations about the 'greying' of the hobby and the need for new blood going on for decades now yet many insist on old forms of media. iPads and tablets have been used in schools these last 9 or 10 years, reading PDFs is second nature for youngsters.
Completely agree! And particularly as people typically have less space these days, the advantage of PDFs definitely includes a reduce need for bookshelves and space to store them. As you say, the younger generations are far more used to PDFs and would most likely be unfazed by them!
@@TsCreativeRamblings You mentioned the clear layout could help folks with dyslexia. I doubt the dead tree mob give even a fleeting thought to folk with reading disorders or visual impairment. PDF reading software has "zoom in" features, text select, read aloud etc. As to the space printed items take up, I moved house last month and have no wish to transport 14 boxes of books ever again 🙂
LOL I think you might be right although I’m sure we can’t tar them all with the same brush! Completely get what you mean about moving boxes of books, it’s no fun at all! LOL
You’ll have to pick up the supplement to find out… ;-) I mention the battle of Cannae in the video. There is a Macedonian list as well as many others. It is well worth picking up, particularly if you are into the Macedonians and successor states. Or if you are interested in Hannibal and his battles with Rome, you’ll get a lot out of this supplement!
PDF was the selling point for me. I've amassed more than enough paper in 4 decades of wargaming.
