Gorilla glass 3 is actually more scratch resistant than GG5. As GG5 sides more towards the shatter resistance. So motorola specifically uses GG3 instead of 5 on purpose, as you could also see in the edge 30 pro where GG3 is used in front and GG5 is used at back.

One of the engineering quirks are the dimple which provides a resting point for the finger & an example, the chin on the razr actually provides a mounting point for your hand when it comes to taking pics & a semi-tripod if take group pics so yeah my money and loyalty has always been Motorola since 2006.
That's how I went and purchased moto edge 20, at a price for 19.5k after exchanging my Moto G5s plus. After applying the case in the box and temper glass, the mobile weighs 190+ grams which feels good. Imagine if we buy a mobile with 200 gm weight after protection it would be 230ish which is heavy. I feel one day usage the battery is good and give it 50 mins it goes from 15 to 95 percent easily. Edge series are underrated fir the experience they provide. But If you get a discount like 5k, it's the best purchase u can make. No regrets

Regarding the battery life i am getting 5 to 5.5 hrs with 95 to 15 percent which is 80percent of battery with average usage... I'm not a gamer and for my worklife usage of my mobile it does last more than a day...and charging that 80 percent with 30w is around 50mins which is satisfactory

So I didn't feel a big battery drain. Whatever time i mentioned before is without Bluetooth on. I sometimes feel battery could have been little better maybe on the weekends when I use mobile more. But to get slim and less weight i am ok with this battery. Recently I saw moto edge 2022 launched in US it comes with good specs and 170gm plus 5000mah battery also OIS camera ...but not sure if it comes to India. It is like weekend 3 times charge for two days usage when mobile used a lot. But if u get a good deal with exchange edge 20 or 30 less than 20k are the best... Ready for is also good feature
I'm using this phone and there is no heating issue. While charging the phone becomes slightly warm but it will cool down after reaching 50% that's because of super fast charging. The battery is sufficient for 1 day use. I no longer care about 3.5 mm jack because I bought a OnePlus neckband and bluetooth sound quality is better than my wired JBL. I don't need a memory card slot as I transfer unwanted videos and heavy files to my pc. The battery doesn't drain very fast unlike many latest Android 12 phones. My phone battery gets charged from 10% to 97% in around 30 minutes. The gaming experience is the best ever. Camera captures highly processed and amazing quality images. I'm slightly disappointed with the selfie camera and back panel vibration while playing music through speakers. But the sound quality is super amazing. While traveling I play music in my car in loud volume and my friends with their expensive phone can't match my phone's sound quality. This speaker is so loud that you won't need your wireless speaker.
I'm missing the app lock feature. Don't talk too much about Gorilla glass 3. I've seen many videos on UA-cam and this phone has performed well during different durability tests. I've used 3 Motorola phones till now and all 3 of them are still in good working condition, including my Moto G5 Plus.
Been using it since the first launch and I agree with your verdict. No issues with this handset but the software updates scenario could be better. Personally, I'm enjoying the ad-free experience that moto provides.
This phone feels so much ligher out of the cover, i did antutu and it gave 545k and 599k , generally all agree that 600k is sufficient for a lag free experience, and thats my experience as well , its eager to open apps, never a jitter , lag in day to day use, extremely smooth, haptics are good, front cam does 4k , edge detection on rear potrait is also good, see the one thing i have to keep in mind is that it is not designed as a gaming phone , that means it delivers 6 hours plus sot with a 4020 battery , ram management is good , haven't had comments dissapearing because i started reading something on chrome. I have pushed this in gaming a little bit here and there, runs cod , pubg I don't play and very high fps and i play on medium graphics although i could push it there as well , and its competitive. So all in all a positive thumbs up from my side. Couple of other positives , while the sides are flat the corners are curved and also as against the 11 lite 5g which i have used this will get android 14 update and atleast another year of security patches , so good for the next 2 years atleast , lastly the stock android is what i feel sets it out against other chininese brands as i was talking about the eagerness, i would still say my mini 5 might be a tad quicker but i blink in its app opening animation, this on auto feels smooth enough to not, khujli toh hoti hai to get a more powerful phone , but really big and heavy is what makes me reconsider it.
The camera is pretty good, trust me. Check out in depth reviews in Tech channels like gsmarena & phonearena with actual samples. You cannot compare it with realme GT2 as that is a flagship offering with Snapdragon 888.

Just got it (in silver). It's an amazing phone and I'm already loving it. Last Android I had was the moto g8 which I lost and been using an iPhone 6S, so it's such a refreshing return with Android 12, a very fluid experience, a great screen and camera. Of course everybody have different uses, for me it's really great, a fine balance between quality and price.
Been looking for a phone to replace my Xperia XZ1 (want to give this one to another person), I found some reviews that say cameras are ok pictures are pretty good; and some other reviews that say cameras are decent, pictures are good depending on the light. And really the thing I love most from my current phone is the camera, it just takes awesome pictures compared to other phones.
At the current prices (Rs. 23999 for K50i and Rs. 22999 for the Edge 30), which would be a better deal for an all-rounder phone? I'm looking for something for my father who would like to use the phone at least for 4-5 years, so long term sustained performance is important, but so are features.

We all have to understand that th updates rolled out by moto are always stable. Better than giving unstable updates every 3 months or so.

I had the G5S was great! Still have it, just ghosting in the screen that makes it unusable. Very happy with the Edge 30 now

I think Gcam will make this phone the absolute perfect value for money phone in this price bracket.
