I fished there about 20 years ago they acaully stocked it with trout...I caught everything out of there including perch ,bass,Rio grande perch, turtles and even snakes
@@TBassFactory those Rios always put up a good fight and they are such pretty fish… I got a nice one the other day at my creek, but that one you got was a lot bigger. It’s funny how they get a hump when they get big.
Yeah victor a lot of the time if I’m having a tough day I’ll slow down or downsize my lures. It’s a good park for fishing I hope you get on them down there.
Eh they have some 2 pounders in that first spot you were at. And the water isn't always that gross. Just downstream I caught some of the prettiest longear sunfish I ever seen.
Really? That is good to know. That was the first time I have ever been there. I might have to go downstream and see if I can find some of those longear.
Another great video like always and yeah I would have to say that you probably broke a few records with that one fish it was huge. Sir thanks for all you do really have been enjoying your channel keep up the awesome job love how you keep it changed up. Well sir till next's time GodBless and Tight Lines.
Howdy, Im new to your channel and i enjoy it. Your way to holding the line and releasing to cast is unique to me. Can you demonstrate what you do in a video? Thanks man, GB!
Yeah I sure can. I have had alot of questions about it but it has been formed over time from crappie fishing brushpiles and pitching and flipping. Thanks Ivan

You got me wanting to explore more now. I’ve heard a lot of good things about that area. Thanks
Oh man! You'll have a blast. Did you ever make a video by converse park about 7 or 8 years ago? Back when it was closed off.
I sure did on another channel. I think it was derk1844 or something like that. It was before that place really turned into a full fledged park.
@@TBassFactory awesome 👍. Your doing great with the content your putting out. Keep them coming bud!
What about that little Fire tiger bait you had?
I still got it Robert. That little lure is one of my favorites.
Just looked up the Rio Grande Cichlid record for the SA River, it's only 1lb.
Dang so most likely this one beat it. You think so Ryan?
@@TBassFactory That looked like a pound to me. Those things know how to fight too

What a cool looking fish! Looks like they fight hard too.
They fight real hard. I can't believe I caught such a big one.
It looks like an invasive species. It's a flowerhorn cichlid, which are hybrids that do not exist in the wild.
This was an amazing Video I tried the same park but I could not catch anything I think I had to of a big lure or casting it to far
