I think its fantastic to see new great content on this Bike, appreciate the videos, looking forward to this series. Only thing I'll mention is you might want to look at an aftermarket metal fuel quick disconnects. I ended up breaking my stock disconnect and I was out of the game a few days with a trip planned.
I have the dynojet quickshifter on my '12 rc8r. Its alright. I hear the annitori is the smoothest on these bikes though. Also there is no auto blip for these bikes being its not a fly by wire bike. Thats a downfall for sure! Also cant set up launch control for the same reason.
Yeah that’s the one con about it. With the Annitori you can program timing and smoothness of the shift in the app. When I first set it up I had it backwards and was autobliping. Lol
Super smooth!!!👌🏽 I honestly can’t wait to hear what it’s gonna sound like when you get an exhaust!😩🤤 Any thoughts on what brand you might be going with?🤔
@@itsmeericb +1 on the jester, I'll try to get some better sound clips, my bike is still in winter storage maybe another two weeks I'll get some braapppp clips to you
Hi bro , im just pick up the rc8 ( not the R version) so i'm wonder if the quickshifter works? and does it has a auto blipper too ? like only up or up and down ? and do you have any recommendation for first time touching the RC8? I have change it from the 2008 R6 same as you did :D. Thank you bro, hope you enjoy every ride?
Hey congrats on picking up an RC8! So I think the R version is a twin spark which means you'd have to make sure you get the kit for the standard RC8. Other than that it's just quickshift up only, no auto blipper. Overall not a bad unit for the price!
I don’t really like the KTM brother. I think they look and feel cheap. They break down a lot. Just not a great bike. I toasted one in five min. Burnt up.
Going on 19k miles on my rc8r I bought new. No expenses other than the service schedule and tires. Oh boy does she chew through softies. Maintain your bike people and it will run forever.
@@davidryff8640 Have you done the valve clearance check? I have a 2016 Superduke 1290GT that I bought used with 9k miles and it now has maybe 23k miles and I still have yet to do it. I change the oil and filter myself every 4500 mi. but I haven't check valve clearance as well change plugs or airfilter. I will say the bike sounds great and starts very easy, just stuff that like in this video are hard to get at. The dealer wants to charge 2k for the service and I can see why.
Who runs Annitori quickshifters on their bikes?
It's bad ass for a yr or 2 if ya lucky 🤟
@@powamoto Uh oh 😄
@@itsmeericb u know me unspoken until now ✊
The bike looks beautifully clean!
Just bought my RC8R this week. Thank you for making new content for us!!
Hey that’s awesome! How are you liking it?
@@itsmeericb Waiting for it to be delivered!!!! Woah momma on the insurance cost!
That bike is sick looking bro.... exotic.
Thank you!
I hear ya with the maintenance. I just hope & pray nothing goes sideways because I don't trust any of the shops around here to work on this bike!!!
Nope! If that happened I’d have to drive to find a KTM dealer.

Dang that sucks! I’ll have to look into it.

I want the Akrapovic but I don’t want the price tag that comes with it. 😂 May go with a Jester. Not sure yet!
@@itsmeericb interesting! Good choices..Can’t wait to see the outcome...or should I say “hear” the outcome.😂

Damn. Glad my bike came with a quick shifter. 😆
Haha!! I sure not all are this tough. My R6 was way easier than this one.
hello, shift rod which one did you put when ordering.
I think I had the standard rod but you won’t need it.
Just when ordering , you can choose the length . if you take what?
Lol the 500 puzzle dis/assembly was worth it 👍
Haha! Man! A few cuss words and long night made for a nice upgrade!
@@itsmeericb well what a man wouldn't do for love lol 😆 even after all that headache u still went for a ride afterwards despite it was pitch black
No pain, no gain😂
😂

Yeah that’s not normal haha! What year was it? Mine has been pretty good thus far with no issues. Just a pain to work on sometimes.
