  • Integrity: the connection between our values and our virtues.
We are nothing without the virtue of intergrity. As one pastor noted, "If you have integrity, nothing else matters. And if you don't have integrity, nothing else matters." Inegrity is the bridge between our desires and our decisions. Without integrity, our lives remain mere piles without purpose.

I can’t wait to meet you, Lord. Hopefully, without my piles. Amen?

It's time to eliminate piles and bring order to chaos. Thank you, Fr. Mike.

This makes me think that to have integrity one’s life must be organized or in order. I wear so many hats and am so flexible but so stressed. Living life in piles. The piles are representing of the chaos of life. Such a very good sermon on order. Order requires discipline so many piles are out dated and from the past. This is so thought provoking.

I paint when in the mood. Art materials in many places in the house. Untidy generally.

Very good homily. “A place of peace...whole and undivided... 'I'm here and I'm here right now'...What is the purpose of our lives?...There is One Who will never forget us...I want to live for Him...Choose Him back.”
    God bless!😄

It's difficult, I used to be super strict on this. Then get exhausted and think whatever, it's not a thing people care about and "oops" forget. But I care. Then you become kind of lame and have to live with that shit 😑 especially because I have a tendency to talk people out of being terrible and then it's like ughhh I'm becoming like everyone else. Suppose it's best that I isolate foreverrrrr 🙏

It's actually amazing how quickly people forget others. I used to hold everyone dear and try to keep memories alive while everyone else was like "who?". Might be some kind of mechanism. I'm sentimental, don't have over lapping or back to back relationships, everyone else's has left their current relationship before it even ends then forgets about the person entirely. Seems crazy to me. Weird world where cheating is how people break up. I just leave when I realize it's not a match, not drag it out until I find a replacement. Could be years 🤯

Father mike this is completely off topic but can you do a video on Halloween? For example is any Halloween decoration ok or completely against our catholic faith? Thank you! #AskAscension

Hi Father, not related to this topic and I know you are extremely busy but if you can find the time could you explain the following from Matthew's Gospel chapter 12, verse 31 and 32: Every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people (men), but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. Thanks in advance.

If we reject God’s Mercy for forgiveness of our sins is sin against Holy Spirit. Catechism of Catholic Church Day 247 paragraph 1864 “There is no limits to God’s mercy, but anyone who deliberately refuses to accept him mercy by repenting, rejects the forgiveness of his sins and the salvation offered by the Holy Spirit”
      God bless

And people in churches are like - why that person is not more nice / and I'm like - remember I talked nice? Once or even three times - and all your reaction was that I'm pretending something or I'm needy poor dirty soul and it's better to ignore or even to laugh? And then maybe a priest said something to you and you came and want something from me? To show me that I pretend to be is like the worst insult ever. I never ever be nice to you again, prepare for the war. God says to forgive not to forget and you will be remembered. It’s too bad when a priest is a heart or brain for some people :P

Father mike I have a question. How old do you have to be to go to hell ?

    • @killianmiller6107
      @killianmiller6107 2 роки тому +2

It would seem to me it’s not a simple question. In order to suffer in hell you need to die in unrepentant mortal sin. To commit mortal sin, the sin must be of grave matter and done with full knowledge and full consent, and this is possible whenever a child comes to the age of reason, which is generally recognized as age 7. Before then, a child cannot be guilty for sin. If a young child is baptized, and they die, they would go to heaven. If an infant dies before baptism, this is where speculation comes in: one medieval opinion that is acceptable is “limbo of the infants” where they would go to the fringe of hell, by virtue of original sin, where they would experience natural bliss (no suffering) but don’t have the supernatural beatific vision that would be in heaven; it’s also plausible that God will grant them mercy into heaven.
TL;DR: youngest a person could end up in hell is at the age of reason

Glad I could help. Sorry if my response sounded overly technical. Feel free to look further into topics like mortal sin, limbo of the infants, the age of reason, original sin vs actual sin, etc.

Are these comments paid? If you are really so hit by some words, say something original.
Otherwise, all allistics must let us neurodivergents daydream in peace, we do this in our all integrity :D it's like telling me I must go “from my prison” or “prison of my bitterness” and meet people - like I have to go outside and do small talk. Do you know how creepy smalltalk is? You listen to “how are you doing” and you can't say real information, but words “well” or “good”. No, my husband does this work for me, he can say all this without feeling like an idiot :D
