OMG! I have just finished the race, I have started from 13th and I finished 6th with very tight battle till the last lap. So I will make just a lil highlights of the race. Lap 1: Starting from 13th, I've made it up to 8th, on T3 I heard some damaging sounds. Maldonado is out, Massa and Karthikeyan have knocked their front wings. Lap 16: First pit stop, I have tried to save the tyres for 2-stop strategy and gain some positions. Webber, Vettel and Rosberg were on 3-stop strategy. Lap 37: Second pit stop, after this pit I was 8th (bcs of Alonso's retirement). Lap 40-50: Vettel have made his third stop, he was ahead of me, but his tyres were too cold, and I overtook him at the end of sector 2. Then Rosberg pits for the third time, and he was behind of us. Webber was far ahead. Lap 50-57: I defended from them really agressively and then Button has lapped us on Lap 57, and we've finished race on 57th lap. Tbh, Button was an absolute beast, only 5 cars were in one lap with him. Button - 1st Grosjean - 2nd Webber is 3rd WDC: 6th WCC: 4th.
James, i'm not an expert, but it seems that you've absolutely lost control by locking the brakes trying to avoid the crash. Is it possible to loosen the brakes to regain some control? I just don't know how physics work in older codemasters titles, but this is what i would've done in newer F1 games.
Yes you're completely right although I just find there's not too much fidelity with the pedals in F1 2012 so it's hard for me to finely control those things
*Looks at the time length* I have a bad feeling about this. What a shame as well, as Bahrain brings entertainment most of the time. Heck, I remember one race around here that turned out to be the most entertaining from a pure racing point of view, but I fear that I might bring a college essay-esque summary if I tried to summarise it. As if my comments aren't long enough. Well, I wish good luck at Spain, AI's OP heaven.
I was not aware that Spain was a strong circuit for the AI! I seem to remember they are really slow in the final sector though. I always appreciate the long comments so don't worry about it!
James "Bottle Job" Early strikes again
I pinned your comment, you win this round of James Early comments
4:18 As someone who has played F1 2012 very recently, yes, the strategy mostly stays the same every time
Aside from Singapore and Korea, where 2-stops is the strategy
I recommend running abs because of how bullshit lockups are on 2012
I think I just need to get used to the game a bit more, I should be okay without the abs on

Button - 1st
Grosjean - 2nd
Webber is 3rd
WDC: 6th
WCC: 4th.
6th in a Toro Rosso is great!
7:55 same reaction there James
I honestly thought I would have somehow saved my car from hitting the wall but clearly I failed
@@adrenaline87 Ok
As long i will see Schumi lead the champ i will follow
Will you unfollow if he loses the lead in the Championship?
Those were the two most passive crashes I've seen, good job
Thank you, I tried my best
Mazepin vibes
At least Mazepin's crash at Bahrain was more spectacular than mine
a certified james early moment 👌

Ohh there is no better feling watching James after your football club bottled the draw
Yes you get to watch me bottle it as well!
@@TheJamesEarly what a combo. James bottles and my club bottles what a day
Well thats unfortunate
More to come!
Hopefully less crashing and more speed!
@@TheJamesEarly hopefully it gets more exiting that way
That's certainly a video
It's a James Early video! A daily James Early video!
i miss the cars on the points screen, nice little detail
Yeah! There's quite a few different menu's on this game that have the car models on them and it's great

Oof i did that on f1 23 recently at Azerbaijan
It's easily done, locking wheels and slowly crashing into the wall is such an embarrassing way to crash
Just have a black screen for 5 minutes after the video
Only issue with that is it'll still put ads in during the black screen portion lol
How do you fix the mid season game save issue?
I'm led to believe there are no mid season save issues with F1 2012, at least I've not seen one yet!
U should add a black screen at the end( for 5 minutes) too not spoilt us i knew before i clicked on the video that something happens
Yeah that might be a good idea, that way nobody will know whether I've crashed on the first lap or not!
Firnd
You edited the comment and still managed to spell it wrong
@@TheJamesEarly I did it on purpose because I said firth but we already had oneth on the last one so I changed it to firnd
