utubecomment21 All cars need repairs. $130k is cheap, but you never want to get rid of your first car that you bought when you made your first million. I will always keep my first Aston and again.....all cars need repairs. It gets to be a pain to travel 100 miles to the dealership for repairs you can do on your own.
good video. a few things got missed. . there are 2 screws under the airbag cover that need to be removed to remove the side cover. we decided to remove the airbag cover. to remove the airbag cover we removed the glove box. there are 2 bolts holding an aluminum plate that is attached to the airbag cover. once you remove those bolts you can pop up the airbag cover. . . .
i don't own one but i have done a lot of this car and repair those panels ,use contact cement but first of all clean off the old glue using sandpaper 80 grip then brush the glue let it dry for 30 minutes then use a heat gun on 600 degreed to soft the leather then glue both pieces
This is great. Exactly the piece of leather that's peeling on mine. But you skipped the whole part about how you took off that side piece. You just kind of lifted it away, but that's certainly not the case on mine.
Hello all. I have a 2015 DB9 for almost 7 months now. The passenger side dash panel came unglued. I am totally crushed. Called around and all I get is " No dash panels in any car can be fixed." I live in Delray beach Fl. Can anyone help me? Mr. Ortiz, are you still fixing them? Does anyone know of a place? Its apprx. a 2 x 11 x 8 panel.
Thanks for doing this video. Exact same problem with mine. Wouldn't have even attempted this without seeing this!
GOOD MUSIC.GREAT VIDEO....Not too many repair videos on Astons...Thanks.
At the price they charge for their cars, there really shouldn't be any 'Repair videos'!
