Man... thank you for ACTUALLY taking the time in putting this together. I know it is significant work. But trust me,...we all appreciate your contribution. Thank you...thank you.
I liked the way you made that wooden jig to saw plexiglass so much that I designed and made one for myself. I made mine so that you don't need a sacrificial sheet of wood to make clean cuts. I tested two saws and found that I a cross-cut-saw is a lot better than a rip saw. Now I can make super accurate and clean cuts from 1/16" to 1/2" thick plexiglass sheets. Finally, my jig allows you to sand and or polish your cut piece if you desire to do so. I am thinking about making a UA-cam video for people who may want to make one for themselves. Thank you so much for that Idea.
For the scoring method, I would never have guessed to manipulate the longer side of the acrylic for a more even cut - but that actually makes total sense.
Hey awesome amount of detail without too much extra info and also not going too fast. Plus we Americans think a British accent makes someone sound super smart. Excellent production including the multiple angles and well timed cuts. Sandwiching material between other pieces when sanding the edge. My god the time and frustration this stupidly easy tip would have saved me over the years. 🤣🤣
Thank you so much for your detailed video. I was nervous taking on this project to cut some acrylic but now armed with a bit of knowledge I feel more confident about tackling the job.
Outstanding! Clear and succinct (and well done for lowering the background music) - a really good clear no-nonsense watch with no unnecessary verbal about a project - thank you so much for the upload!
Wow. I’ve watched so many videos and played with acrylic sheets from the $1 odds and ends bin. I learned so many things that I never would have known! So many vital tips.
I wasn't a fan of cutting acrylic , but this was fun & useful to watch. And I need to mention it was well edited, short but enough tips for those who need to learn cutting acrylic. Well done 👍, nice.
Thank you for this info. Like previous comments, I agree that this is valuable information that is not available elsewhere. I’m a new subber on the strength of this.
sorry to be so off topic but does someone know a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb lost the account password. I appreciate any help you can offer me!
@Ridge Ahmed thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Wow. This video was fantastic. Describing complex, multi-step processes with great detail but doing it succinctly is a hard task, but you nailed it! Thanks.
Most youtube instruction videos are beyond useless. People who are good at tasks have absolutely no idea how to teach them. But this is great. Good job.
Followed these instructions with new sheet 12” x 72”, scoring method. Worked perfectly, now have the 2 sheets I wanted: 12 x 46.5 and 12 x 25.5. Thanks again.
Thanks for this great, easy to understand video. I'm going to use your instructions to make a nail polish storage shelf for my mom's nail shop. I don't have a saw and will try the scoring method on recycled sheets. I wanna build a really nice and economical shelf using leftover acrylic sheets, thrifted fancy frames, an old mirror, aluminum foil and leftover wood PLUS I want the whole thing lit up with soft led light strips so no one has to bother remembering to replace the batteries in them string lights. It'll be just as good, if not better than the $850+ dollar inspo ones, wish me luck
Thank you! I was planning to do it with other tools but after watching your video I changed my mind and created a quick jig for cuting with a handsaw. The result was perfect.
Well, you just saved me a fortune in extras I was going to pay the sheet company to do, but I will be doing them myself now. :o) Very useful, many thanks.

Great video! Straight to the point, no bs story about oneself, or some narration. Just clear, concise instructions, oh and, great tips too! Thanks!
100% I agree with you.
Thank you for not confusing acrylic with polycarbonate! So very much appreciated! Great info here.
Thanx for a "straight to the point" video, no waste of time. Usable info.
Amazing. I was convinced I'd need some fancy power tools but you got an awesome finished with just hand tools. Really appreciate this!
Very well made video. Thank you for showing us different ways of cutting acrylic by hand.

@Mary Graziano So what did you find?
@@rustinstardust2094 that both Mary and Eun are bots.
@@nova31337 I know...so weird, cuz I could have *sworn* I replied that it's a scam - not "so what did you find?" 😳
