One of the most talented actors of her generation. And yet so humble.
Without spoilers, that was the best description of her character. Amazing series and amazing actress.
It really was amazing. The Chinese food situation was mind blowing and I can’t remember being so rocked by a show I’m a while.
Yeah she's a great actress. When she breaks down in roles she plays. It seems legit. Like unsettling to watch which is something special
One of her best roles is in Brokedown Palace. She absolutely nailed the role in that movie. I'll never forget it just because of her acting

Even when talking about serious stuff Conan manages to find a perfect comedic moment n it was awesome, Claire's laughter/reaction was so pure, lovely to see. I respect n admire her for some of the roles she has portrayed in her life, one of my favorites has to be Temple Grandin, perfect performance. She was great in Homeland, Romeo n Juliet ofc n a few others

After watching all these clips with Claire, I gotta watch this show now. I've seen it advertised but didn't pay much attention. Same thing with Homeland when it first came out and now I've watched all 8 seasons 4 times through now haha.
You should really try it, it is excellent. And they haven't even mentioned Lizzy Caplan or Adam Brody, who have great roles as well, especially Caplan, who narrates the story.

So true. He’s really not the best interviewer because he asks a question, then interrupts his guest’s answer to talk about himself AND/OR he GUSHES endlessly about who he’s interviewing. His ego takes over. I think it’s his insecurities that cause him to do that.

Wadr, Claire Danes could not act her way out of a wet paper bag to save her life.
EVERY SINGLE ROLE she plays is EXACTLY the same as the others. Like MOST "actors", she is simply playing herself in each role, saying the words, making the motions, trying to emote the emotions, the latter of which is her worst "talent".
She's just attractive, has some intensity, isn't a BAD actor, and has grown up in the business, and somehow survived transitioning from a child actor to an adult actor.
She's "good enough", and attractive enough, that she does well enough that most people will watch her.
I wouldn't agree. In my opinion, just between Homeland and Fleishman, she has exhibited immense amount of range.

@@LemonTheKing900 it truly baffles me. I can think off the top of my head of so many incredible character defining moments she's had on Homeland alone - and that is some intense, nerve-wracking material to portray so effectively - and I've watched tons of her interviews, she's not playing herself.

The fact that you do not recognize just how talented Claire Danes is as an actress (despite all the awards she’s won and the high esteem she is held in) is baffling, to say the least. Your bad opinion of her seems almost personal. Why is that?
@@googleyeyed5814 - It's partly because of people like you, who do not understand that she is NOT some "great actress", but is EXACTLY as I described her.
The fact that you thinking her winning some "awards" actually means something, and some specious "held in high esteem" BS, rather than being the hyper-politics situation it is, and the money-based bias, which is the absolute truth and reality, says it all.
That is why it is called SHOW BUSINESS.
