In Gnostic tradition Satanael was an angel who rebelled against Yaldabaoth after learning he was not the true god by giving humanity the knowledge to free themselves from his rule. Super in line with the story and the themes.

I thought he only got Satanael as his persona because he was revolting against society. He was fighting a malevolent god who was disguised as benevolent, meaning he technically played the devil's advocate by defeating Yaldabaoth with a demon lord.
Wouldn’t it be the other way around? If he’s in his civilian clothes then he conforms to society and tries to fit in. His Thief outfit is different from everyone else and unique to him so his which makes him more free from society’s chains.
It didn't seem pre rendered on my ps4, this cutscene was about the same as any other cutscene in terms of quality and framerate. At least thats what it seemed to me

I think the difference between P3 and P5 is that Universe Minato *would* be capable of a "Sinful Shell" that could kill/banish Nyx, but that *wasn't* the problem with The Fall. In P3, the issue was that Erebus communicated Humanity's Despair to Nyx, and would do so until Humanity had no such desires (or they were greatly culled). Minato became Door-Kun because that was the only solution to the problem of "Nyx and Erebus must be perpetually separate". In P5 it is assumed that after Satanael and the Sinful Shell, Igor/The Velvet Room/his own vow of "testing Humanity" restrained Yaldabaoth, preventing him from pulling his Metaverse shenanigans again after his respawn timer finished, however long that would/will be.
@tornadoawe The real issue was that no matter how much power the MC would've racked up. And he did rack up a shitload of power. Nyx can't be killed or destroyed. The avatar of nyx kinda can, but not nyx herself. She is literally death and the source of shadows and personas. Destroying nyx would mean destroying the entire collective unconscious (aka metaverse). Even the universe arcana can't provide what kind of force would be needed to destroy death itself. Sealing her and preventing her descent was the only viable option.

The whole "fragment Death into 12 Arcana Shadows + one emo boi's psyche" did seem to work at holding back Nyx's descent (at least until we and Strega interfered), so we could probably use the Universe to fragment it again, although maybe the Avatar obtained resistance to that method. It is mentioned that post-Answer, Elizabeth has been culling Erebus every now and then, but that also regens fairly frequently. Really, it's that Narukami and Amamiya didn't draw the short straw and had problems they were able to just punch away.
The fact that this last section of the game doesn't have everyone NOT in their Phantom Thieves Attire is a bit of a disappointment. What's the point in rebelling against society if you're there to save it?

The modded scene: Joker’s hair is covering his eyes completely. Fix it it looks terrible Graphical error at 3:58. Everyone is wearing their third semester casual outfits. That makes no sense. They should have their phantom thief attire as they are still rebelling. It also clashes with the portraits in the fight. Sumire is still there. Again, why? Joker’s glasses disappear as he summons Arsene, like the mask does, but they reappear in the fight. That’s not supposed to happen. The mask stays off, so why cannot the glasses? The headshot isn’t timed with Our Beginning. The part where the player selects Sinful Shell has no UI until the Persona/Skill menu appears. no offense this is what i think
