The 1st seems to be the easiest to repeat dozens of times required for a large embroidery project. The 2nd seems overly complicated. It looks nice, but enough to make it worth the effort? The 3rd looks like it would be time consuming. This would be acceptable if the end result didn't look so similar to the first one that was much quicker to make. The 4th is very nice looking and easily repeatable. This would be my favorite. The 5th seems like it has a loose bit that could easily catch on things if the embroidery were on a garment. I'd probably avoid this one.
Oh my gosh! I’ve struggled forever to make these and watched so many videos. Who would have thought the one with no talking would be the most helpful! 😅😅 this was perfect! I can make a French knot now! Thank you so much! I just used method 1.
Oh my gosh... Thank you so much. Without your video I would literally have struggled forever to do this.. Thank you so much. I appreciate your help....
I like method 2 best and will try it . Method 5 doesn’t seem to give a tight knot unless a looser knot is what you are going for . In any case , thanks for this extremely helpful video !!!
I got to the 2nd method, tried it, and FINALLY can do French knots. Every single time I tried the original way, all the thread/floss would go through. Thank you so much! I'll now check out the other methods :-)
For some reason the first one was really hard for me, I was confuse about the part where you put the needle back down, but THE SECOND part was really easy for me to understood! I now finally know how to do a French knot thank you so much!!!
The first one looked the easiest. But I, just my opinion, think the second one looked the nicest. I've been watching your videos and been learning alot from you. Thank you!❤
I definitely think that the first one is easier to do and I thought it looked better. Thank you for being such a great teacher and a flexible teacher as well.
I started embroidery today and in all of the videos everyone is making knots in flowers but I wasn't able to do them until I found your amazing video. Thank you so much for teaching me how to do knots! I am left handed so it is usually really hard for me to learn anything but I was able to learn it from you properly. Thank you so so so so much!!!! ♥
There’s a lady who does really good videos for lefties. Her channel is called” on the other hand”. I’m right handed, but find myself doing a lot of left handed stitches because I love her videos! Lol. Good luck!
Thank you!! The project I'm working on requires a few french knots and your up close tutorial showed me how it's done! I'm going to use the first method. Thanks so much!!
This is the best video I’ve found for french knots! Was having such a hard time till I found this, now just need to perfect the technique. Thank you :)
Thank you so much!!! I tried was struggling to do it using the first method ( every other tutorial showed that only), method 3 works for me, so just gonna use that until i get the hang of 1st. P.S. While using the first method i cannot get the knot so it was just French.
Hey thank you so much for this video I'm really struggling with french knots right now and i just found out here there are other (and more suitable for me) types of method to achieve french knot 😊 hope you're having a great day
It's very useful first seems better than remaining steps make these watching this video different ways .I like this calm how to do step by step very clearly now I am done as same as french knot.
I decided that embroidery was not for me since I failed so miserably at making French knots. With your guidance, method #2 seems to be working for me! Thank you for providing alternatives to the traditional method.
Hmmmm, which method did I like best? I feel like the first one would make me poke my finger less and be easier for me to remember. I feel like method two is for when I have more experience doing that. I didn't know there were two ways to do it but it makes sense. I bet you have stunning needle point framed and hanging on your wall, and designs you have made in your clothes.
the last method #5 is the easiest and helped me SO MUCH! The french knot was the reason I was stuck on my last project and I thought I would never finish it bcuz I didn't know how to do it even after watching several videos. I'm so glad to have come across your video as you are the only youtuber that made the french knot easy. thank you so much!
U are very talented. I am sure u must be beautiful girl like your stitches flowers 🤗🤗🦚🦚⚘⚘⚘🌹🌹🌺🌺🌻🌻🌼 . Dont stop this journey ever. I also want to stitching as i am not good at studying that much. Atleast i can do this😁😁.
I am a beginner to embroidery, although I did a few cross stitch projects years ago. I just have so much trouble with this French knot! It looks easy, but I turn into fumble-fingers every time I try one. I think one reason is because I'm left-handed, so I have to turn what a right-handed person is doing the opposite way in my mind. I usually don't have too much of a problem with that since I'm used to doing it, but this one has just given me fits! Thanks for demonstrating different ways to do this stitch. I will keep trying!
i feel you, I'm left-handed and nobody can really teach me anything, such as crocheting, knitting, and embroidering. I just have to watch other people to learn.
i'm left handed. i use all right hand tutorials. i do everything i see (or read) just like they do but left handed. the right handed person yars over, so do i. just with my left hand. just accept that what ever you do or make will go in the opposite direction of the right handed person. their patterns will go to the right yours will go to the left. even in embroidery.
@@BeesFlowerDesigner786 Hiya! No clue what I'm doing wrong but I always finish without a sticht,I mean, when I pass the needle through the hole at the end,all of the thread follows it and ta-daaaa,no stitch. What am I doing wrong?🤷🏼♀️
I tried the first method! Thank you for your help! I’ve been embroidering peppers and wanted to add seeds using the French knot method. It looks great! 🌶
How on earth do you guys remember all these stitches? I have trouble remembering how to sew straight! Now! There are 5 ways to make a french knot....like the one wasn't bad enough, right?! 😂😂😂😂. I doff my hat to you all....amazing! Me, I prefer to watch thanks. Stella
