It used to be that people called a game dead if it didn't get a main game nomination at EVO, now it's dead if it's just at the bottom of the list lol. Hopefully if people genuinely like a game, they will continue to support it without the need for additional content. I don't remember the same disdain for SamSho whenever it got news announced by KOF fans, so it's surprising for COTW. That being said, I feel like either more characters or an eventual dream match will come for KOF within the period of COTW, and hopefully both communities can flourish!
agreed 100%, as someone who was around pre KOFXV, it’s a blessing to have enough to warrant a 3rd year but some sort of update could be really good to keep the game going
Really hope we get a season three (I want my baby Zarina back) and a balance patch is so much needed. Don't want another big tournament being an Isla/Geese/Heidern fest
While i do want another balance patch too just to hopefully make Billy Kane/Haohmaru good the reality is that there will be new top tiers to takeover and they’ll be selected over everyone omg bring the whole brazil team back😅
As the Person who got told to SHHH by Oda at SNKWC, hopefully this is a Season 3. Give me Krizalid, Mr. Karate, Oswald, Sie Kensou, Hayate. Hopefully they add a new mode also like 1V1 Online, the Tag System from XI. But this might just be an announcement of an Ultimate Edition.

People keep saying snk got money now but idk. The gap between now and COTW release would be perfect to slide 3 to 4 more characters in kof 15 especially since it's the anniversary
