That combo of Boecklin, Kendrick and Sprietzer is un funkanble beatable...if only the master of bass Miller was there. Thankfully he is back now... and DD breathes new life. X

Never in ALL my years of attending Metal Shows, have I seen a Man make a Bass guitar look so fucking tiny, only person who I can think comes close would have been Adam on Bass for Machine Head during The Blackening/Locust era of the band. I was fortuntate enough to see the orignal DevilDriver lineup in 2009 and aside from Dez and Boecklin, Miller had a presence all of his own, absolute BEAST!
I was up near the front and I've never, at any gig ever, seen a bass player with more fucking stage presence than Aaron. He was mesmerising. Those huge slides he does, oooft spine tingles.
Soundwave is so much worse. At Soundwave 2009 in Perth, DevilDriver played and was the biggest circle pit ive ever seen... ever.. in any video. It went right around the tents at the back and all the way to the front. The Lamb of God at night. I still remember that as the best Soundwave ever.
Dez has one of the best stage presence I've ever seen. I've seen them multiple times and once in Nashville, he got the crowd to kick a guy out because his girlfriend was standing in between him and the pit.😂
