It's like fighting a cab. Or a rock pile that moves, and fast. I think this man Beterbiev might be the strongest boxer in any division today, and among the strongest ever. He hurts his opponents when they're defending completely-- right through the gloves, he concusses them.
@rodtack8420 It would seem so. Just think: several of the victims of his knockout victories had never been even knocked down before. These weren't bums lined up for Beterbiev to dispense with along the way to an artificially great knockout record. These were tough professionals, hard men, the real thing. Joe Smith. He'd never been even *hurt*, to my memory, and Beterbiev completely destroyed him.

Beterbiev is, on top of being a smart tactician, just stupidly physically gifted. He barely needs to commit on his punches to generate power, so he's always balanced. He uses his arms and slight head movement very well for defense and is just crazy fuel efficient. Plus it looks as if he has rocks under his skin.

Yes, that would be a very interesting fight. Bivol is the most technically skillful boxer in this division I've ever seen, but Bererbiev is a killer!

Bivol doesn’t have the power to earn Arturo’s respect for 12 rounds. I see a late stoppage in that fight. As for Callum Smith, he has to hurt Arturo early to earn his respect. That will be a hard fight and I see Arturo knocking him out in the middle rounds.

Both Bivol and Beterbiev are Russian. Bivol once said Beterbiev was the boxer he and other young Russian boxers looked up to when they were with the Russian National boxing team. Bivol and Beterbiev must be friends.

He is 1-2 vs Usyk actually, and at least one of the loses was a clear robbery. He had Usyk on the canvas in those fights...with the amateur gear.

That lateral movement,he switch hits,he can bring it in close and he can deliver from that good old find your range jab,but that Jab is vicious reminds me of Holmes that powerful jab that’s as defensive as it is the beginning of the end.

Unbeknownst to most boxing fans, KO ratio is calculated by dividing the number of KO-wins NOT by the total number of wins but by the total number of fights. Beterbiev's 100% KO ratio is genuine anyway though.
