- Finaly i start to bild ball mill for my ic chip processing.I alredy hawe a motor knife mill for my ic chips but i think that ball mill work much beter and for ic and for stones.Still not finish,in the next video i will go for test run to see how these baby work.See you freinds!

excellent, bloody excellent , l was in the process of trying to figure out a method of grinding ashed chips, this is so much better, much easier to build, no real wearing parts, just like a mini cement mixer, well done, l now have yet another project on the list, thanks mate, cheers, Brian from the bush

Using a chair bottom as a work surface is a great idea. Looks like it worked awesome.
I’ve been working on one of these!!! I’m using a “balloon time” helium tank. This is much better because you can remove the top.

The part inside is called a "lift arm".
Looks like it's turning a little slow, but that's fine. You'll probably want two lift arms. Some people like to run a little faster, others people prefer the lift arm. Six of one, half dozen of the other in my opinion.

I would suggest to make it go a bit faster. At that speed it would take forever to grind anything down. I use a ball mill to make black powder for use in pyrotechnics. My mill goes about 3 times faster than yours and it takes 2 to 3 hours to get a decent powder going. If I'm making aluminum powder, it takes a week. Great build man, I really enjoy you content btw.
Zdravo Dusane. Maybe you can use a PC Power Supply instead of a battery to connect to the house power? PC P/S have a 12V output and some of the higher power ones can handle a bit of current so it should be ok for your motor.

That's going to be a pain to clean out. Use a water clean out or make sure to mask up.

Hey bud, been a while since I've been doing any refining an missed it alot. I made a ball mill few years back an what I did was use a treadmill motor. They have a board on them to use the motor. I put a variable knob on so I can speed it up and slow it down. I also started without the cross fin inside the tank but later did put one in. I suggest you find a way to speed that up because I have same size tank so it needs speed so those balls fall at the same time. Good seeing you're still processing!

Curious what happened with that grinder thing you made previously
you need 3 paddles inside that will lift the balls and drop them again, if you use only 2 the balls will fall on top of the paddles

You can also use nuts instead of balls
