I think it's made out of mother-of-pearl or something of the sort. The lighter looks just like Alexis' own, but more of a buttery yellow. It's heavy AF too... I'm sure a character like Alexis won't think twice about throwing it at someone's head 😂
I think the composer were given the scenes to watch and composed the music to match the dramatic scene exactly. Big ass budgets for TV allowed for it back then.
She loved Blake and because he couldn't reciprocate, she became hateful. She never stopped loving him though... when he got amnesia she pretended they were still married and professed her love. Really, it's tragic.

We also got full sets, they weren't split into two parts like in the US and they were released more quickly in the UK too Instead of chasing Dallas in the ratings, Dynasty should have gradually built up its audience and its character driven early storylines would have won out eventually The addition of Eileen and Robert Pollock (Pillocks) as head writers was a big mistake, they turned the show into high camp drivel No wonder Pamela Sue Martin bailed after the end of season four When David Paulsen, former Dallas and Knots Landing surpervising producer came in as showrunner in season 9, he injected a breath of fresh air into the show Had he been lured in earlier, say from season six, the series would have been so much better That's hindsight for you

And then season 9 was good but the ratings fell and ABC cancelled dynasty after 9 year's and ended it with a cliffhanger. they had the mini series that showed what the Carrington family and Colby's where doing after season 9. Where basically Blake was in jail for 2 year's and his 33 bedroom mansion went up in auction and Alexis bought everything but other than that Blake always was one up.😂
stupid line....blake may have done many things....beg for mercy at the feet of Alexis..nvr....there was a female associated with dynasty...that was behind much of what we saw during dynasty...alex on top of blake at colbyco much bigger than DC...twd the end of season 4...alexis has brought blake to his knees with dc being foreclosed on...andrew telling blake u r sinking fast..if you have an ace...its time to use it...he then gets on the phone with alexis admin assistant and demands to see her...he does not care how busy or rushed she if...he then comes to her desperate attempting to sell her his shale oil process Colby co has 150k acers that is useless without his process and she tells him he is out of touch and misguided because colbyco cld afford to plant daisies on the 150k acres...
