Very informative! I had a list of questions before the session started and you answered each of them. I am so impressed with Yarbo customer service and education.
I received my mower module for the 2023 about a week ago. I ordered it in Nov 2023. At times I got frustrated with the delays. It was worth the wait. It currently mows 27000 sq ft daily. Some problems were encountered. Mostly operator error. Very happy with the capabilities and custom settings. I'm sure the 2024 model will be more capable.

@@sparkymcfly3754 Thank you for sharing your experience with the Yarbo 2023 Lawn Mower! Thanks again for your support along the way!
Thank you VERY MUCH for answering these questions! The ability to solve paths with this machine is wonderful. I'd suggest that some clarification on "dead end" pathing should be demonstrated at some point, even though it is a niche feature. There are some very steep inclines, such as with a ditch, creek, pond or lake, where the dead-end solves a lot of problems. Specifically, consider addressing the the problem of losing your Core to a 5 foot drop, or 3 feet of water on a steep ditch, river or pond embankment. My current Luba2's mowing perimeter is about 2 or 3 feet above a ditch edge, because it slides down most of that distance when turning around *if the grass is dry*. Once the dew-point hits and the grass becomes wet, I do not mow that section because it would simply slide over the edge while turning. I can't wait to put my Yarbo to work when it gets here. Cheers!
Hi there, thanks for your suggestion! Your suggestion about demonstrating "dead end" pathing is excellent, especially for those challenging areas like steep inclines near ditches or water bodies. Addressing the risks of losing the core in those situations could definitely be valuable for users facing similar challenges. Once you get your Yarbo, I’d love to hear how it performs in those tricky spots!
Can anyone tell me if there is a video where they explain terrain mapping well? another question, but if I have precipices that are within the mapping, does Yarbo see them or jump down? Thanks ❤
Hi there, Thank you for reaching out! Feel free to check out our tutorials for videos on how to map terrain (ua-cam.com/video/cUIZf78GQyQ/v-deo.html) and set up no-go zones (ua-cam.com/video/BPcP4KuU1Ko/v-deo.html). As long as you've set a no-go zone, Yarbo will not move into those areas. Additionally, its camera can detect non-grass surfaces and will immediately stop if it notices something unusual ahead.
Thank you for this information. I look forward to trying out all of the different turning modes for my lawn. May I suggest an additional turning technique. When I cut my grass I try to avoid turns, just like Yarbo, but I still like parallel lines back and forth which show a nice pattern on the lawn. To accomplish this with minimal turns, I cut one line to its end and then turn either left or right and skip one or more paths for the return. With this, I can do a large arc between the paths I'm cutting knowing that I will return to the other paths that we left uncut earlier in the job and still cut them in the correct direction to give me my pattern lines. Such a turning mode would allow Yarbo to press onwards with a smooth arc cut which I suspect would be faster than the smart turn and still less harsh on the grass as the Zero Turn. Thanks.
Hi there, Thank you for your thoughtful suggestion! We have 4 cutting patterns, Logical lines, Checkerboard, triangle and spiral. I think one of the Checkerboards is what you want. And we have a feature in our app called route angle, where you can adjust the angle until you get the shape you want! If you have any questions or need support, don’t hesitate to reach out to support@yarbo.com. Thanks again for your support!
I'm a bit concerned why my mower module is still in production in the tracking while the core and snowblower have already gone through quality check and are in transit. They all went into production around the same time, but the mower module is still there for over a month. At this point I don't see the mower module arriving by the end of October unless it is shipped by air.
Hi there, thank you for bringing this up! I completely understand your concern. Different modules can have varying production lines and quality check timelines due to their specific components and testing processes. We know how crucial timely delivery is, and our team is diligently working to ensure everything meets our high standards. You can track your order anytime from the "Track my Yarbo" page. comment for answer at min 3: Zero-turn for snowblower is also terrible for your driveway when you have to use metal bolts to prevent yarbo from slipping (my drieway is steep and yarbo would barely clear snow without bolts). I used it with bolts on driveway and concrete sidewalk and it made so much damage to the surface that you can still see it to this day, 9 months later. most of that was done when turning, not actaully driving through it. I think you should make available other turn options for snow too, not strictly zero-turn.
Hi there! Thank you for sharing your concerns about the anti-slip studs possibly damaging the ground. I’ll make sure to pass this feedback along to our tech team. We’ll work on finding a better balance between maintaining traction and minimizing surface damage. Here are the reasons why we only consider zero-turm as the turning mode for snow blower: efficient snow removal is key, especially when snow is falling. Clearing snow quickly helps prevent it from freezing and becoming harder to remove later. Using a zero-turn method is the quickest and easiest way to change directions without needing extra space. Other turning methods, like moving forward or backward while turning, can sometimes cause slipping, which increases the chances of getting stuck while trying to clear the path. Your input is really valuable to us! Thanks again for your support! If you have any other questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to our support team at support@yarbo.com!
Riddle me this? Why does Yarbo always fail to deliver their production. End of september and M1 have been stuck in production for more than 30 days now
Hi there, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Please know that Yarbo is committed to putting our users first. The term “starting delivery” has been used because we produce, ship, and deliver in a rolling sequence based on the order placement date. Orders placed before August will begin delivery in October. Given the extended period from May (the start of the Yarbo 2024 campaign) to August, we received a high volume of orders. To prioritize fairness, Kickstarter backers are given priority, leading to a sequential delivery process. This is why October is the “start” of deliveries, rather than a completion date. We hope this clarifies our process and we appreciate your understanding.
