My plans- have yarbo mow the lawn, blow (& salt) the driveway, and twice a week take the trash down the driveway to the street for pickup, and return with the cans afterwards. Let me know if you could use another product tester 😉 got a sizeable driveway and yard to put it to work.
I think the question is, regarding the battery, how do you combat cold climate usage/degradation when using it during the winter? Is there something to keep it insulated?
Hi there, it's really a great quesiton and thanks for asking. Yarbo won't shrink in the cold! The Yarbo Snow Blower is designed to handle extreme conditions, working efficiently in temperatures from -13°F to 113°F (-25°C to 45°C). While the standard working temperature is -25°C due to battery limitations, Yarbo is equipped with heating modules for key components. As long as Yarbo is turned on, it won't drop below its designated working temperature range, allowing it to operate smoothly even in environments as cold as -40°C. And if you don't use Yarbo for a long time, we recommend that you place the battery in a dry and stable temperature place. If there are other hardware issues, just feel free to contect us at support@yarbo.com.
@@yarboglobal What about the cold climate in Canada? I notice that although it’s rated for -25°C you stated it can operate in -40°C? Can you confidently say the battery would depreciate roughly at the same rate (comparatively over time) if operated at -40°C compared to -25°C?
My husqvarna 450x battery is $200. I’ve had my machine since 2017 and it’s still on the original battery. Although it’s meant to maintain a lawn and just trim the top, it will cut 2” off. It does every spring. It can handle 1.25 acres
I used to be a Husqvarna dealer... They were a good mower for their time, but definitely not in the same league as something like this. Also they can not realistically cut down 2" in on pass...and of course those passes are random and it would take many passes to take down 2" of graws, especially with the default metal protection plate on the bottom installed. The mower is prone to wire breaks in the perimeter and guide wires and as you mention very limited to 1.25 acres...that said I used to push installs to 1.5 acres on flat ground. It was a great mower for it's time, but there are many more modern options with many more advantages on the market today, again if you're only looking for a lanw mower and only a lawn mower.
I echo everything you say. My 2018 is still going strong. I've also set it loose on 6+ inches and it got it back down. It's very quiet and I have it set to run at night.
Hi there, thanks for your question! The good news is that we have a dealer in Austria who can help with offline service and provide you with detailed pricing info. For you and the dealer personal information security, please feel free to contact us through dealer@yarbo.com, we will provide the communication method to the dealer for you. Thanks again for your interest and support!
I’ve wondered this too, especially with the advertised range of 6 acres. How far will RTK reach up hill and downhill of a center point? I’d like to hear more about positioning to know if this will end up working out for me based on my property layout.
@@MLJenkins I have a pair of Husqvarna 550's and it took 2 GPS reference stations to get solid coverage throughout. Most of these RTK solutions are using 900mhz for RTK base station commuication. Which if you remember back to cordless phones in the 90's that was the spectrum they used.

I absolutely love Yarbo! Great job team!
With this being a work in progress a 2 year warranty is a deal breaker. You need to gain the publics trust that its reliable

Interested but it would need a minimum 5 year warranty.
In future videos, can you please lower the volume of background music. It is too distracting.
Thanks for the heads up! Will do!
Great vid but would have been better without the music in the back ground.
Very nice, but why are the costs 50% more expensive in Austria than in America?

Can Yarbo have multiple RTK reference stations?
