As an indie developer growing a startup, Freshdesk does everything I need and feels powerful. BUT, right now I'm going through a backlog of hundreds of tickets, and the UI is annoying: most selections are from drop-down menus and so take 3-4 clicks to find, open, select, and save. The button / menu layout can't really be customized. Automations are easy to create but then difficult to manually trigger.
It comes across as quite a quite coloured "comparison" of the two tools. Comparing real options instead of looking up some stuff what others say, would have been nice.
Great job with reviewing each honestly.

Thanks for the feedback Ashton! Really good points.
I believe they do have a separate CRM called FreshSell similar to Zendesks offering
They do? Good to know, they seem to be doing a good job as well then.
❤❤❤❤ I need this!

You're right, i am planning on making a video about how things can be done in Freshdesk too.
Haha I liked the disclosure
Haha, I thought I gave it away throughout the video..
You have never used Freshdesk? How can you compare it? You just compared data that people can find themselves on the internet.
I have in the meantime. Still a stitched together tool in comparison to Zendesk.
Freshdesk is great for small companies.
Too bad Zendesk has decided to become extremely expensive by doing everything they can to force Support users to switch to a Zendesk Suite plan.
Well now it gets even worse with Ai as they want you to pay for Bot resolutions individually so it's a suite + pay for service 😅
Feel like intercom is overpriced
If you don't like that, wait 'till Zendesk increases its prices starting July 12th.
Noooo really? Bro what do you think about Zoho for Shopify?
