Great reaction to the most underrated band/duo in music history. It's kinda difficult to request any songs by them because literally that have about 30 songs that are great like this song you did in there catalog obviously Everybody wants to rule the world and Shout are some of there classics and they just came out with a new album in February after 17 years called the Tipping Point and there on tour right now in the United States, saw them in San Diego on June 5th and it was the best, TFF ARE LEGENDS OF THE MUSIC INDUSTRY, look forward to more of your reactions on them!!
@@RandomJane104 where did you see them at? I saw them in Chula Vista CA on June 5th, I'll never forget that night, I never thought I'd get to see them in concert and when they first came out it was amazing feeling! I have some videos on my channel if you Wana Check them out.
This song is what re-introduced me to Tears for Fears. I had only known their radio hits before, but this album cut is a fan favorite and I can hear why. If you ever want to hear a recent live version of it, I suggest watching this 2014 concert from the Spotify Landmark Sessions: ua-cam.com/video/s5_HZT7qhP0/v-deo.html
Thanks for listening to this. I know you get more views from reacting to a band’s more popular songs, but a band’s most popular songs aren’t always their best ones. For Tears for Fears, two of their best songs that no one know are this one and “Bad Man’s Song” They have a lot of good songs, but if you feel like checking out something no one else is listening to but is amazingly good, check it out.
Just saw Tears for Fears in concert and they were awesome!!! So many great songs including their new ones on 'The Tipping Point' album. Listen to "Woman in Chain", "Badman's Song", "Head over Heels", "Sowing the Seeds of Love"
Omg, made my day when I saw you posted a reaction to this song! So glad you gave this one a listen and enjoyed it. Really enjoyed your reaction. That sax in this song is amazing and the combo of his vocals and the sax drives the emotion of this piece. Tears For Fears is more known for Pale Shelter, Mad World, Mother's Talk, Everybody Wants To Rule the World, Head Over Heels, Shout, Woman In Chains, and Sowing the Seeds Of Love - which has a very Beatlisk vibe/sound. I'm sure there's more I missed, but those are some off the top of my head. Quite a bit of variety as well.
I got excited watching your reaction to this masterpiece. This song is part of the album songs from the Big Chair, one of my first 33 laps. I was 12 years old (😣). Thank you so much.🙃😘
I am glad you found this song, Tears For Fears has always been one of my favorite bands since 1984, "Mad World" was an awesome single (83). This song however is my all time favorite from Tears... The arrangement is a testament to Roland and Curt music writing ability. (paid by those who learn by our mistakes) Unfortunately The working Hour was underrated and didn't get much airtime in 85, the other hits off of The Big Chair over shadowed it. When I bought the Album, I let it play all the way through, I immediately fell in love with this tune. So much so, that one night in the late 80's I had a waking dream with this song, and it played from start to finished in my dream-space... we have been attached at the hip ever since. I haven't seen your reaction to this song yet, I'm going to play it after I type this out so this is a good share. side note: One young lady posted about this song a few months ago, she said that "this wasn't a song, it was an experience..." and I totally agree. Cheers
Your reaction was amazing… you picked out every thing… head over heels , listen to that … no no pop , still going now and he does a one on one with his daughter … she’s amazing x yeah I’m English and was bought up in London
They're about to tour the US in 2023. Definitely see them live if they tour nearby. Roland & Curt sound as good now as they did in the '80s. And their new music/album, The Tipping Point, is a masterpiece.
@@island661 Yes, this is a continuation of the 2022 Tipping Point Tour. Really focusing on the new music. You should listen (but you heard it last night). I love Tipping Point, though, and had the album several months before the concert, so could sing along.
Love me some Tears for fears, some suggestions "Everybody wants to rule the world" "shout" "head over heels" "woman in chains" and well so many others but we would be here all day
Another one from this band is "Everybody Wants to Rule the World." The lyrics to me are deep but the song itself is catchy. Also "Woman in Chains and 'Mad World."
Suggestions : “change” , “listen” , pale shelter” , shout”, women in chains - (you’ll love this song !) Suffer the children (you’ll love ) mad world remix and head over heels (Donnie darko movie) If you like dreamy music this is your band go listen town girl
Hi JT I loved your reaction today tears for Fears is a great band 💯🔥please check out head over heels I think you will enjoy it. By the way ❤your reactions 😊
This is probably my favorite Tears For Fears song, and one that is tragically overlooked and underappreciated.
Yeah, it's perfect. I loved this song when I was 4 years old...

This is an absolutely beautiful song. So many layers.
Lusciously done, quality all the way. You just cant help but to pay attention eyes closed.
I've loved them and that song since 1985. It's extremely cool to see someone react to it for the first time. Reminds me of my first time 🫠

The entire TFF 'Songs From The Big Chair' is a masterpiece of composing.

Find the song Mad world and pale shelter
In the 80's it was an offence under English common law not to have a saxophone in your songs.
