Want me to powder coat your parts? Reach out and we can make arrangements!
I started this channel to show my process and help others. When I started coating there was limited content accessible for powder coating so feel free to reach out to my email with any questions concerning powder coat or equipment. For more personal 1 on 1 training/advice we can set up a time and date for calls or video calls from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Click this link for more info.

Hands down. You will do 98% of all your jobs in your small booth even as you grow
Please can you do a video of your oven and what it took to build it and also a build video for the new oven that would be awesome
I'm trying to get the rc-1 gun and once I'd I will definitely send in stuff... I just got full custody of my son so the money I had saved to buy the rc-1 I had to use it to get him clothes and stuff for school and all, but I don't regret it at all... I will use my rigged up eastwood gun and try to save as long as I can see my son's smiling face every day
You can enter myself dude. I like the videos your putting out. Keep it up.
Hey, thanks for your effort-I like it, good luck in the future.
Looking good!
I would love to try it!!!!!
Sorry to hear no one entered, love the vids, I don't powder coat yet as I don't have any space or equipment but am looking to get started in the near future, needless to say I could not enter. Hoping to have a space set up before next summer if all goes right.
would love a video of the sand blast setup
Here’s a video of my blaster set up. I use this system routed into my cabinet 👍🏼

I haven't sprayed with my rc1 BCS I havent built a oven yet
I just got my system yesterday in the mail but its not and RC-1 system. Sorry it didn't work out this time hopefully it will work out the next time.
Any updates on the new oven!? Can’t wait to see. Keep up the great work! Just found the channel, very helpful!
Oven is coming along. Working on it as much as I can, life has been pretty hectic lately. I need to finish the door and all of the electrical. Hopefully I’ll be finished with it soon and can do a video going over it.
I'm not getting notifications so couldn't enter because I didn't know.
Can your next video be on how to clean the RC-1 with the hopper upgrade. I blow the lines out but I can still see metal flakes when I change powder.
I can do a video on that. But until I can get one put together, get some foam backer rod from your local hardware store. Cut it into 1/2-3/4” pieces and blow them through your powder hose with your air compressor.
Hey man I really appreciate all the videos you've made as they have helped me a lot. I do have some questions for you if you don't mind and have some time.
Feel free to send me an email royalpowdercoats@gmail.com
great video! what size is that Scat blast cabinet and where did you get it from? How would you go about setting up for blasting large parts outside? I am building a 20X48 workshop and intend to blast my 55 gallon drums right outside the back garage door
That is a 970 that I purchased used. It originally came from TP Tools.
If dust isn’t any issue I would just blast in the open air. This is typically what I do for my larger items that will not fit in my cabinet.
thanks!@@royalcoatspowdercoating
I'm up for entering the contest unfortunately I just found you 😆 let me know the details I really like your product rc-1
How do you clean your filters on your booth or can you
I tap the filter on the ground to get the loose stuff out and then I blow them clean with compressed air
You don't have any moisture issues with out a dryer or after cooler? Man I wish I had that blaster cabinet.
You can see some of my air filtration starting at 8:30
@@royalcoatspowdercoating dang it, must have missed that section
Any updates on the oven?
Oven still isn’t finished. It’s been put on the back burner for awhile now
Can you post a link to that control box on Amazon please?

Pre Wired Kit: amzn.to/3CjvvPj
@@royalcoatspowdercoating YEAH! That's a very nice setup...but WAAAY outta my budget for now...but definitely something to keep in mind.
@@251_Performance I’ve considered making control boxes and offering them on my website. Email me at royalpowdercoats@gmail.com if this is something you would be interested in.
do you need the refrigerator air dryer to powder coat
You can do with out, I did for a long time. But it definitely helps where I’m at with the humidity. You will need some sort of filtration though.
@@royalcoatspowdercoating oh ok I didn't know that are the filters to just get the moisture out of the air? and what kind of filter would you suggest?
@@prestonklug7792 I have that followed by a 3 stage filter from Amazon that I paid $200 for and then coalescing filters at other points. They’re made to take out different microns of various moisture, oils, and debris. You can probably get by with the 3 stage filter and then I’d put a filter before it enters whichever piece of equipment you are using.
How much was your gema set up?
Around $5k
Is that a gas oven or electric?
Electric
how many heaters in the oven and what is the power?
4 2400 watt elements
how long does it take for the stove to heat up to 180c °
@@takitamtoten1480 takes about 20-25 min to heat up to 400°F
Theirs nothing wrong with working out the garage! You save Alot of money on shop rent! I've been there!
So now I make $125.00 per semi truck wheel I do!
What size is your shop?
Total is 1200sqft but I’m using about 750 of it for powder coating.
I think no one sent anything cause they're intimidated that you're a UA-cam professional powder coater. Just sayin'...
Hmm.. hopefully I don’t give off that vibe! I enjoy seeing everyone’s work and their current set up no matter how big or small. We all had to start somewhere and most of us on a tight budget with bare minimum equipment going out on a limb hoping we could sell our work for profit.
@@royalcoatspowdercoating You don't give off that vibe. A lot of people that watch their favorite UA-camrs think of them as in that "celebrity circle" not as a regular guy, making videos in his garage passing on personal experiences and knowledge to his intended community.
I remember the 1st time I met one of my favorite UA-camrs face-to-face...I was excited and terrified at the same time. But once he explained to me he's a regular person like me, making videos of the things he loves to do and spreading his personally gained knowledge, I looked at UA-camrs in a whole new light.
@@251_Performance that makes sense, I could see that. But like you mentioned, I’m just a normal person that started where a lot people started and have slowly grown since. It is cool to look back and see how I started, and a lot of these guys are steps ahead of where I was when I started coating. There weren’t any videos being posted online at the time and it was all kept one big secret it seemed. I went through a lot of trial and error without much visual help from anyone online. So that’s man only why I do this.
