Another tip, make sure any used stocks are royalty free, not copyrighted, as it could cause complications, like what happened to the m4a4 howl skin.

A little tip, never use 100% white or 100% black, as with those the game wont be able to shade them.

When i try to do a skin. always the magazine is like battle scarred, i don´t know why. It´s because i use the 100% white maybe?

If I drew some lines on one side of the gun in the 3d option, how would I get it to carry over to the other side with it being exactly the same?

Hey! I really wanna start making skins for CS:GO and have many ideas. My problem is that I'm terrible with photoshop, but I have drawed them on paper and scanned them. Could you do a drawing tutorial on skins or maybe just have a look if its possible to use my ideas?
In Photoshop, every time I stop moving the camera to inspect my skin, the wide grid turns it into pixels. When I imported the VTF file for my skin it shared no similarities with what I made in Photoshop. I know this video is old, so maybe someone could explain to me.

there are no OBJ files for the knives.
when im editting the gun texture theres heaps of black lines (outlines) when your editting yours their all at the bottom of the screen, mine are everywhere and really annoying

Hey, if anyone is still here, when I open the tga in photoshop it is a wireframe with no color so it is near impossible to differ one part from another. Please help!

I cant use the folder with the gun mappings, it doesnt appear as a .rar
For fixing small pixels on csgo skin, just change pattern scale from 1,00 to 0,50
so how do i get the skin in-game now ?

my photoshop doesnt have the 3d part when i open the file it asks me to rasterize the 3d (i have ps cc 2014)

When designing the actual gun texture, instead of all those black lines being down the bottom, it's covering the gun textures, and having the black lines covering my textures and everything make it really annoying to work with

+Our Tech No. You can only put it on the market if you've put it on the workshop and valve has picked it out of the many other skins on there to be a part of the next case. Basically you have to make a really good skin everyone likes before you can use it. There is a way to use your skin but i'm pretty sure it can't be done online or something like that so it can only be done with bots.

Oh that are orientation for light and shadow i guess ? i fixed it uncheck UV Overlays :D
