This reminds me of my own fangame, Sonic: Return to Angel Island where Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy come to Angel Island only to find that Eggman has built his latest plan on top of it, so Sonic and buddies must traverse the artificial planet

this is really impressive i've been trying to do my own Sonic fangame on Classic Sonic Simulator, Sonic Emerald Trouble, a fangame that continues after Sonic Superstars that leads into Sonic Adventure as Eggman, waiting for his E Series robots and Egg Carrier to be completed, reattempts to steal the Master Emerald as he was out of ideas at the moment and so he steals the Master Emerald and uses it as the core of his base as he does research about it's origins, Knuckles is ambushed by badniks and goes to Sonic and the others to get the Master Emerald back using the Chaos Emeralds to locate where it is

I hope they make a better system for playing custom levels so you can play a level by a person not in your server (Maybe an upvote and downvote system for levels (of course only after you played them for at least a certain amount of time or beat them if the level is really short) and if a level has got enough votes it has a chance to appear randomly (the chance rises with even more votes) in like some special tab of the custom levels)
@@pancake204 Well there can't be a gazillion levels, but only 2000 and I think it rarely hits that amount on the main server while on the test server there may not even be 5 people playing
you have insired me to do sonic encore but the new name is sonic genisis and it is a work in progress with cutscenes and levels haveing dialogue and boxart!
I love how scripted this is with other users playing their roles as the characters in the game to follow the story. It's almost like acting if you think about it.
I'm not entierly sure what you mean by this but I usually come up with the theme or some of the core ideas of the level first and then I make the layout and add objects as I go
