It’s actually insane how good the animation is and how it looks exactly like it came out of the series. It’s absolutely amazing
This is absolutely insanely incredible! You got the art style down perfectly, and made the motions and backgrounds feel just like the show! You're literally insane in the best kind of way. My god, I don't even know where to begin, your work is so fantastic and just so lovely. It's like you're giving us this wonderful chance to see more of the beloved and cut-short ROTTMNT series. Seriously, this is such an amazing piece of work. From the moment, Casey walked through and lifted his mask, to when he was brushing off the grass and dirt. I CANNOT get over the talent, the work, the effort, the inspiring and so vivid imagery of this animation. If I may, I'd absolutely love to just appreciate and look at every single piece of work you put so much effort into, for this animation.
I'd like to appreciate and add commentary to every single second, as in 0:01, You can see Casey is looking upwards and of course, again, Sobbingly wonderful artwork that resembles the ROTTMNT art style. The positioning and the outfit are absolutely on point, the pose, the shadow, the BACKGROUND. Oh the rubble and broken pipes(?) laying on the ground behind him. The background is done so similarly to the actual series, I'd 100% believe if you told us you were a ROTTMNT animator. And then the smooth motion of Casey's hand being positioned to grabbing his mask, and then lifting it. Keeping true to his character and his habit to have been doing that, I absolutely adore that. Thank you for keeping him so in character. The sharp edges and outlines are stunning. NOW we talk about even more smoothness in how quickly and smoothly you made him pull his mask up above his face. I cannot FATHOM how many frames you had to make for this and the corrections. Its quite literally a master piece of such respectable hardwork. Now adding onto to expression of his surprise and awe, looking at Raphael. Like he's relieved. The music helps bring in understanding of his awe. Yet keeping that addictive mystery feeling to it. It's so wonderful and it feels like we're watching another episode. It tugs at my heart and makes me wonder how on hell and earth can such an incredibly talented and dedicated animator and artist like you exist? I apologize, I got distracted but I'd like to continue on about saying as it reaches 0:02, the movement and leg motion of Casey is done wonderfully.
His hand going down in the animation was so smooth and didn't seem awkward. Started off as great and the swaying of his weapon is even better! Making it feel very natural and canon to the show. Again, kudos to your magnificent and respectable hard work. As 0:03 starts, we can see you changed the perspective very well. The transition felt so natural, again, perfectly taking in the series and the movie. The ground having the shine and reflecting the pillars and having the seemingly dried up dirt, rust or blood on the ground. The colors matching insanely well with the scene as you drew casey smaller, I assume to make it feel more grand and awe-spiring. Which it is, as you also have the green moss or possibly copper turning green from chemical processes on Raphael's legs. The fact that his legs were slightly stuck into the ground and the positioning was very well done.
The shadows and light, they match the music and the tone. Seeing the kraang flesh, and infected skin on rocks and mainly around Raphael's body is a wonderful addition as well.
The rocks, boulders, rubble and backgrounds again, chef's kiss, astounding. Love to see it breathe life into your spectacular craft. I can't even call just art or animation because of how simply ground-shatteringly and perfect you made it.
Now now, I know you may say nothing is perfect, but just looking 3 seconds into your work shows how much you truly care about this series. And how much you care about ROTTMNT. Now still at 0:03, You can see the great details and metallic body of Raphael.
The scratches and small crushed up parts, you can see on the right left. As if it had broke and was melted back together. The small details on the rocks against the walls on the right. As 0:03 continues, the music hits a higher pitch as the camera angle seems to pan higher. Again so smoothly, it melts my brain incredibly. The amount of time and work that must've been put into editing the music and walking to match.
As well as the dedication to this animation. The cape swaying as he walked was also so nice and pleasing to the eye. While it ends and starts 0:04, it starts to lift the camera angle even more, showing bright lights peeking through the broken ceiling or roof, of course since this is in an apocalyptic world. We can see your own touches and designs into the robot Raph, they are quite adorable and dashing to me. The faded reddish color showing that he has been in the same place and buried for too long.
THE USAGE of the shadows, god damn it does it work so well. Seeing Raph being lighted ane having different tones and saturations of it. Really adding to the feeling of wonder and awe. The comparison of casey and Raph are so sensational that I can't help but adore the way and size you drew Future Raph in the apocalypse. Seeing the grass growing on his body and kraang flesh around him. It just adds to the feeling of him fighting through the kraang till the better end. The pillars being above his head and creating the cuts in light is so smart. Its stupendous how you can match and work these all together. The detail of Raph's left arm(from Casey's perspective) looking like something is oozing out of his arm. Looking like a cut. As if he was fighting, fighting to protect others, from the kraang most likely. Perhaps, everytime his brothers see it, they are haunted by the memories of losing him. Causing them to get closer as he listens to them and embraces them.
0:05 continues to lift the camera angle, letting us admire the wonderful design and image of your Future Raph. Making it feel so intune with the music and the tone. Increasing the feeling of just seeing him, the sensational Future Raph and story you've given us. The kraang flesh around his body, as if still trying to hold back this loving and strong brother from his niece.
In 0:06 I only just realized, the stains that the shadows show on his body. Probably the kraang blood he has spilt to live and protect. Covered in dust and moss and grass, waiting. It feels emotional, to see him so stained and covered. Seeing that stressed teenage boy go to a still robot. The detail of the top of his head, is turning green with that kraang tentacle ontop of it, feels like a reference to feral raph. It feels nice and familiar, as if foreshadowing that there is more to this story than we'd expect.
The music gets tenser and gives a good feeling that worse is going to happen but also giving us time to think about raph, seeing his predicament and how he looks now. I find the way you add small clips and movie trailer-worthy animations or your series. Its a great method and definitely shows off your out-of-this-world talent and hard work. 0:07 continues to show off the masterpiece before masterfully changing camera angles. As if you mastered it so many times and attempts to make it seem like a complete replica of the show. It switches to a drawing of rocks and boulders leading upwardly as if leading casey forward.
Like stairs, the small moss and grass on the background rocks are an adorable background detail. The cuts and broken parts on the ground, behind the mess of ground and rubble. The completely and utterly exhilarating light work which you are proving to be spectacular at. I'm in love with how you create this animation, every second of it. As the second continues, you get to see Caseys side being drawn again, so accurately to the show and the smoothness of the animation. You deserve all the praise. I will fight on that.
You can feel casey's emotion as he's gripping his weapon which resembles a hockey stick and walking up the rocks as if determined. The noise of the shoes crunkling against the rocks and of the flesh. Its perfect! Outstanding and marvelous. Seeing the flow and suave you have with making this animation feel like 30 people worked hard on a movie trailer. It's just simply heart-renching that you, another fan of ROTTMNT can do this and create and build up a story off the series we so dearly love. The dedication, the time and effort you put in, will always be incredible to me. Seeing the cape for a few seconds as 0:09 passes through. Keeping us so interested the whole way through.
As 0:10 comes in, showing the top of raph's knee as casey starts to climb ontop of it. We can see the rubble of rocks and a square-ish kind of pillar on the left. Seeing more kraang flesh dangling and sticking, we can see the back of the building, appearing more to be like a base of sorts. Perhaps one that was abandoned due to the kraang finding them and raph had to sacrifice himself..
The reflectiveness of the walls and hoe there seems to be no way out despite the break on the roof. Kraang flesh in the background as if keeping a previous door closed. How many had died in here? No one truly knows... except you, right? Even as I slow down the frames, you put the effort into moving and making the characters flow. As I see Caseys weapon in his hand as he struggles to get ontop of Raph's knee. Climbing on slowly. Looking tired and wary, perhaps worried a kraang would find him here. But others could assume he was glaring or giving a sharp glance at the kraang flesh around Raph's body. As if not wanting to alert any kraang and possibly cause harm to himself or further harm to raph.
0:10 ceases and 0:11 continues on, showing casey had put his weapon down to get up easier. It is now confirmed, the glances were just because of the difficulty getting up. Although, theories are always a delight. We can see how you clearly capture his character again, as he gets up. His shoulder raising as he finally gets both of his arms up. Putting his knee ontop for stability once he pulled himself up enough. It feels like I've become a parent watching casey struggle to get up on Raph's knee. It gives me a thought of a tiny baby casey crawling up onto uncle raph's knee. How cute. The small moments where you show his eyes give off the feeling of you wanting to show off a reaction of his. 0:12 comes and shows him blink for a second. Loving the small details you put in here. Truly, gives me more reason to adore this clip.
Before he looks up. Which, again, astonishing how impressively smooth you've made this animation. Seeing the details on Casey's scarf and his hand positions make it feel even more impressive to me as someone who really does love to see art. And who loves ROTTMNT. The music helps emphasize the tension. As the camera once more, pans to a different angle. Showing the back of casey and how much closer he was to raph now that he was on his knee. 0:13 shows the fuzzy and misty moss and grass on Raph's chest, head, shoulders and shell were more prominent now due to Casey's vision being closer, therefore making our vision more clear. I very much love this detail. 0:14, Giving us a second to register the feelings casey is going through. The bright lights and harsh saturation making the scene seem more important thenever. The more cute little tidbits of grass on raph's body. As the music continues with the omnious feeling. 0:15, We smoothly see casey stand his weapon on it's end. Probably grabbing it when the camera angle changed. The detail of the symbol(?) On Raph's belt seeming to fall off is quite genius too. As if it was telling us how bad or shape he really was in.
We see Casey seem to regain more confidence as he stands up, the drawing and animation of his arm supporting him to get up safer was wonderful and an brilliant way to show off the more accurate way to get up anything really. Instead of using blur images, going through the effort of showing human actions through a cartoonish art style is insanely amazing. Now as we see you make him blink and open his eyes as an addition, makes it feel more human like to your art.
0:16, showing his eyes looking at Raph now. Clearly demonstrating the height difference despite now being on his knee. This art style always looked adorable and you capture every single detail of it. You give us a whole second of watching him turn around, frame by frame. As the weapon moves out of frame first and then his mask is more front facing, his eyes blink again as if he's willing himself to do something. To not overthink. Until 0:18 where we see him look down. Blink again as if it he saw something that caught his eye. His eyes narrowing, perfectly encapturing the movement of the eyes and the body language.
Especially since the eyes are key to the soul and you draw them so emotionally just like the series does. He comes closer in 0:19, the movement and walking, flawless. The mouth changing into the z shape like the ROTTMNT series loves to do. Especially when they are about to do something. 0:20 then quickly pans to some kind of grass and moss. Seeing shades of blue, of Raph's metal and the red of his bandanas and outfit. Despite him being a robot. Showing your great shading skills off with the dark and light contrast.
As 0:20 passes quickly into 0:21, we see the very smooth motion of Casey's hand start to wipe off the grass. Showing some sort of broken window or glass. But it looks more like the symbol that raph has on his belt. Still having some grass or mold covering it. Which is an accurate representation of brushing off something in real life, good job. 0:22 cuts from his hand to his face looking like he was trying to determine what it was as well. You captured his emotions very well and the positioning, as the arm is in the way of the camera angle perfectly. 0:23, easily came as he blinked and looked surprised when he saw it. And gave him almost the entire second for 0:24 to think about it. Before his gaze looked back up to raph. Its so interesting, to see you work with these characters. Seeing how you do them right and put so much life into them. I think its something special and magical for a person to be able to create and reform a known series into one almost like itself.
You truly are an insanely talented and dedicated animator and content creator. I feel awe-struck just like casey as it reaches the beginning of 0:25. Amazed at how you give us the ROTTMNT content we've all been begging for. My completely gratitude to you, but of course. I've gotten distracted. Back to commenting, despite how tired my fingers are. 0:25 shows casey looking at raph surprised. Then it switches the angle of the video to the side. Showing us a new perspective for we didn't know how low raph was looking in his state. As if he was holding casey safely in his arms, or perhaps that's an hallucination. Seeing the parallels of this future raph with movie raph being tied up and trapped in kraang flesh. As well as seeing how small casey is, again, when it comes to future raph. Seeing him draped all in kraang flesh.. Staring at this picture, drawing, artwork feels exhilarating. Its only one single frame but with so much care and love and dedication put into it. Into it all. It feels so freeing, I feel proud actually.
To see the more muddy, stained, bloodied roof top as the music continues to flow with the clip. 0:26, shows casey standing up and looking at raph. The small version of him still being animated smoothly and looks quite adorable from this perspective. As the music heightens the clip, as even the smallest actions felt strong due to your spine-tingling editing and animation skills. Including your writing ability, for this entire clip is absolutely astonishing. 0:27 had been showing the smooth motion of casey lifting his hand up. As if he was going to reassure raph. Or maybe himself. The silence only felt more powerful when it came to the questions and curiosity of the next frame. Seeing his hand slightly land on raph's chest. It again, felt like it was a memory of raph and casey that they shared when casey was young. Something he did with raphael. Like there was more to that small gesture that you drew. And it felt thrilling. Like you have brought us into the story you created and let us experience it first hand. I want to know more about your series. You, and what kind of person can make such a masterpiece. Using 0:28 and 0:29 to emphasize the silence and the entrance to the title of your series is genius! Its such a good respect to the people who made ROTTMNT and they probably adore what you've made.
And I, for one, completely love everything you do with this animation. Whether it be the coloring, art, figures, backgrounds, designs or music. Its quite literally bizarrely phenomenal. And insane how you are not famous yet. You are an incredible artist, writer, and animator. You deserve lots of respect and praise. For doing all of this. Whether it be 10 seconds or 30 seconds, the animation was perfect and beautiful. Soul-shattering even. You're almost the hope of the ROTTMNT fandom. And although, I may be commenting and talking a lot about your stunning animation, I have not seen your entire story but I've heard of the wonderful memes and animatics. The inspired fanfics and stories. The amazing and great impact you have had on the ROTTMNT fandom. I've heard of you and what you've done. I'm fascinated by it, you and your work. I want to know more about this series you crafted and made. You gained yourself a single more follower. Good luck and take care, Casserole.

LITERALLY GOING WILD!!!! The team who worked on this did an absolutely amazing job, I'm so impressed by the technique of the animation. There's such a strong sense of weight and really good use of spacing to help convey Casey's actions and emotions completely wordlessly. I'd absolutely believe that this was a cut scene from the movie. Fantastic work!!!
is it just me or did you end off your series better than rottmnt did? like i mean the movie was beyond amazing, but you just did the unthinkable. The animation is just like the shows, you solid helium, and lizart lotte are beyond talented! ALSO can we just take a moment to acknowledge the fact that you just spent 1 whole freaking year making a comic based off of the bad timeline; But its so much more than that! You made all the connections, it made sense, its like if rottmnt had another season, THAT would be it! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA you have no idea how grateful i am that January 12 i came across someone who turned future Leonardo into a tiny baby for fun, and now has an entire series of emotions, heartfelt moments, angst, death, suspense, brotherly love, friendship, and just genuinely relatable character traits. You are my inspiration, last year i can just say it, i was not in a good place, but your comic gave me something to look forward too, and it still does! YOU. Casserole, you and Tapakah0 have both amazing comics.
