I think this is the first time that I’ve ever got the first comment of this video! This feels like an odd yet satisfying accomplishment; one very loyal Zestie haha. Anyways, I have decided to keep up with the new videos so I don’t fall behind again, and then once I’m caught up with those, watch the old videos I’ve missed over the last 2-3 months of yours… and then watch the ones from years ago, because I just love these videos as background noise. Also, I finally updated my diamond painting logbook, and realized that I have 5 whole kits kitted down temporarily to finish later! That’s insane! I’ve made my diamond painting goal of 2025 is to work on finishing those up, which may last me awhile as they’re all medium to large kits. I have: Cosmic Trip, A Day Fishing at the Mill, Pumpkin [all 3 by DAC], then The Great Wave of Kanawaga by Diamond Dotz [which is hard to work on since the symbols are blurry and they’re gappy squares], and lastly 2 budget 30 by 40’s with low quality printing and drills. That’s not even counting the almost double digit count of unopened kits and the fact that I stlll need to finish the. Diamond Art Studio HAED Christmas advent jut (I’m about halfway through and hope to finish it this year). Can we tell my ADHD can’t stick to a kit half of the time? 😂 Today my DAC order is coming and I’ll be kitting up “together for Christmas” by Dona Gelsinger for my Christmas kit this year. I have done about 2/3rds of “Christmas Ornaments by Auclair Studio over the last 2 weeks, but it’s only 9 by 9 inches (22.8 cm by 22.8cm for European folk) and round so it’s going really quick.
Hi Rebecca and Zesties.. huge update on the kitchen saga.. It's sort of finished .. they have to replace the sink and part of the worktop that their workmen ruined.. BUT we have all our new stuff in there and we love it 🥰 specially our retro 70s gas cooker 😂 so hopefully all the stress and I'll health was worth it in the end. I'm now sitting here kitting up my advent paintings and thank you to all the Zesties that suggested tipping the drills onto dryer sheet.. oh my it works.. 😅 Loves n hugs to all 🥰🫂💚
What a wonderful WIP and Waffle again! I saw my surgeon about my foot today. Luckily the pain isn't anything serious. We did X-rays to make sure there's nothing serious and there isn't. He thinks I just irritated it a lot when I stubbed my toes so I'm back in the boot for 2 weeks to hopefully give my foot a break. Yay.....lol😂 Our city came out Wednesday and replaced our water lines because they were Lead lines. So in 6months we will be safe to drink/cook with tap water again and have no worry of lead in our water! That'll be nice because we spend so much money on bottled water for both us and gallons of water for the dogs. We're going out of town to celebrate an early Thanksgiving with my inlaws this weekend. So excited because we haven't seen them since before my surgery in July! Hope everyone has a wonderful week.
yes! thats exactly the method I use. The dryer sheet becomes your tray/funnel when kitting or "traying" up your paintings. The reason it works so well is because every drill makes contact with the sheet on both sides of the drill on the way into the tray or bottle.
Evening Rebecca. Hope you are having a great week. Thanking for your help ordering my canvas and drills from evermoment. All ordered and paid for. I’m doing a mini heaven and earth design called Mini Maui mermaid. It’s 82cmx 65 cm. I ordered a canvas from evermoment that was 70x80, as they advised and they said that they will send me a canvas 65x82cm. I also ordered 570 bags of drills. So 500, 50, and 20. I actually only needed 565 but they told me to round it up to 570. I absolutely love doing a diamond painting heaven and earth design using pattern keeper. I am currently doing a heaven and earth cross stitch which is 249 colour. I have done 22000 stitches so far but there’s 282000 so a long way to go. I started it in 2019 and am only about 28% complete. I have put it away for now because at the moment I am loving my diamond painting. Thank you for your great videos. I really look forward to them every day.
Im so glad that the advent will be kitted up this week, im so excited for it, although Im unable to join in with the canvas, I have many Christmas ones that are in my stash that I will be doing. But hopefully I will be next year! I absolutely cant wait for December advent, having such an amazing video each day! What was your first heaven and earth design? I hope youve had an amazing week, know that your videos help so many people, especially when having a bad day, you make such an incredible difference💜
Now I’m worried about using a evermoment canvas for my heaven and earth. Is it that you don’t think, in your head , that you place the drills on the numbers! A bit like a graph!! I guess I’ll start with a small section first until I’ll get use to it. On the topic of evermoment. I’m so glad that I persisted and ordered my drills from them. I’ve done several evermoment paintings and their drills are lovely.
I don't like that my preferred name instead of my username shows up, so just for reference, I am Denise. :) What I tend to do when I have paintings with huge swaths of a single color that won't fit into the bottles is to bag them up separately. That way, I only have to fight the static the one time. It does take a lot longer for bigger paintings, but I'd rather just fight it the one time instead of over and over again for the same project. The most frequent time this is something I have to deal with is Homfun and EverMoment. If you don't have the time to sit and do it all at one time, maybe you can dedicate 5-10 minutes after you've finished your video for the week opening up a few bags of a specific color and continue opening more of that color the next week until you are done. I've also got my eyes peeled for a static gun when I thrift...no luck, yet. They're about $100-$120 in the USA, but that's still too rich for me.
Oh whee…I could not work with the numbers on the canvas. I get confused every single time you place drills on those edges. My brain spins trying to decipher where the box edge is.
Hi Rebecca I am doing a Elvis diamond painting . A lady here in my care home said I should sell them put it so hard to put a price on it I do it for pleasure what would you do.

I also pour my drills onto a dryer sheet and then massage them with the dryer sheet before I put them in the container. Works great 😊
