Nice video! Am deciding between Coman and the TreeRoot. My main concern w the TreeRoot is that I can't remove the spikes. Can't put on rock claws. But more importantly am worried about TSA not allowing it as carry on. Have you travelled w it? Also could you do a video showing how to take it apart to clean? Did your Coman not feel stable w the 2.8L lenses? Online Ulanzi says they both basically have the same weight load. Did you have any issues with the Coman levers - on the legs and the bullhead?

I have not traveled with it; but when I do I usually put it into my checked baggage. I wonder if they would even take into account the spiked which are capped with the rubber part. The spikes are too short to be an issue; but have not confirmed. I do not see a way to remove them either. I tried as gently as I could so I would not damage the leg and it was not removable. I will have to look at taking them apart some time. I am curious as to why spare rings were provided too. I have large hands so sometimes the levers on the Coman pinch a bit; but was workable. The Coman legs are stable but I prefer that the tripod have a bit more sturdyness since I take into account eliminating micro vibrations when taking some photos like night photos.
