One of the most exciting features is the introduction of a brand-new weapon for each profession: the land spear! Probably by animation locking ourselves and getting us killed and blinding the whole squad from aoes so that the rest dies too, but its finally ranged! Lets gooooo ❤

I am a bit disappointed as it looks like all ele skills works the same on each attunement, just the effects are different... I just want different skills and not 4 times the same one with different effects. This is just lazy.

Either ya'll gave the usual filmer / editor time to work on this, or you got someone new on this one that actually put effort into not just showing the skills, but also filming and editing them in a really slick way. Whoever you are, I appreciate the effort you put into this. Also light armor gang just WINNING non stop, Necro, Ele, Mes all look absolutely ace, LFG GGzzzzz

@ProduccionesPaquito Warrior main here, I love the Paragon reference to Warrior, with the throwing spears, that's the best!!! It would be so meh if every classes were melee only...
@@BryanHRRpossibly because warrior lacks good range option in PvE endgame right now. Rifle just...doesn't do its job.
As a revenant enjoyer I love the new revenant spear skills animation, and hopefully it will be a great weapon to use for endgame content and open world.

All utilities on ELE force you to be mele, so it doesn't change anything.
Plus we don't know how much of it is power and how much is condi.

As a revenant main I’m pretty disappointed that we got another melee weapon. We have hammer and shortbow for ranged weapons - that’s all.
It looks cool as all hell, but just feels meh that it’s another weapon to dilute the melee weapon pool.
It depends the range on these skills though. And it has auto ranged/melde when target is close so 🤷
It looks like a hybrid of both melee and range to me.
@@elocfreidon yess indeed => auto attacks are ranged or melee depending where if openent is close or too far from you. Skill 2 is aoe, 3 is mobility, 4 is large aoe + some cc in it. And the 5th skill where it is all going around is a ground target ranged skill.
Now how long the range is, we will see later today ^^.
This is why WoW and ESO bore me. GW2 has the most spectacular combat!! I'm assuming we have Miss Mills to thank for some of this beautiful art?
It being flashy doesn't mean it's spectacular or else FFXIV would have legit the best combat.
It's spectacular cause it doesn't lock you down except for specific moves.

Its fun but the old weapons are so outdated mechanic wise, I think they should focus on making the old ones more fun and engaging. Like scepter on guard, long bow on Warr, shortbow on ranger etc :/ I do however still enjoy wow combat, it's different than gw2 action combat but still better than final fantasy and all that because you can still move and jump and have movement abilities instead of being animation locked. That reminds me I think you should be able to jump and do skills in gw2 too 😅
@@AzureRoxe Aint no way that you say FF14 has great combat, what exactly is good about needing to select an enemy before even being able to attack, and not even having a regular dodge?

Them mesmer autos are so clean, it's almost like the battle monk martial art, sick!
For Ele it looks like with the big symbol on the ground the AA changes (like Mirage and Ambush after dodge). Looks good.
I hope the elementalist spear is AT LEAST 900 range and it NEEDS to be power.
These circles look weird, too big, and messy. Just imagine what will look like in a WVW Zerg fight or open-world metas, we won't be able to see anything even the boss's mechanic and even if just 3 people use these.

Arenanet, can you guys add in either Guild Wars 2 or Guild Wars 3 controllable fully functioning ships (Rowboat, Cutter, Sloot, Brigantine, Galleon, Man of War, Fishing Boat Ferry, Trade Ship, Etc) that we players have to build that have cannons, Ballistas, Keg Bombs, Harpoon guns, or Harpoons that allow you to hook on to the other ship or boulder or whatever for sharp turning or boarding or reeling in other friendly or enemy players in World vs World, PVE, or both? It's the only thing that you guys don't have for Guild Wars that Archeage did. Had the devs (XL Games) or publishers (Tencent) or both not screwed things up with requiring land to do anything to progress in the game, which was limited because there were way more players than there was land, Archeage would have made a massive dent in your player base, which they probably did do but temporarily because they did not have all their cards together. I guarantee that not only me, but many other players will come back to Guild Wars if you do this. Youl'll also gain many more players. You already have a better combat system than World of Warcraft, Archeage, Final Fantasy, and many other MMO's. If you guys add ships to the game, most other mmo's won't be in your league.
The only one is if somehow the devs and publishers of Archeage get it together and fix that one mistake. Their product was different because they still required people to fight over loot unlike what you folks do, which is beautiful; however, the serious fear of some rogue player killer popping out of the water and onto your sloot ganking you, robbing you, taking your sloot, and not even leaving you a piece of CHEESE when you're sailing full speed in the middle of the ocean running a trade run that took you a good bit of time to prepare for is a big part of what made the game really exciting (Yes, this happened to me) or having to run away from the Kraken ( ua-cam.com/video/EH643ajGXFc/v-deo.htmlsi=Io11XSDONGUbu4dh ) . Again, because of XL Games's and Tencent's minor but also major screw up, NO OTHER MMO compares with what you folks have. I still till this day haven't played another mmo with magic, battering rams, and stuff because I missed Archeage but was pissed at it at the same time. If you guys do this, again, I guarantee you gain me and many others back.
How much you want to bet that ele 3 ability will be the generic circle under your feet and then for weaver you just make the same circle but itll be the combined effects of two elements?

Revenant desperately needs a cool range weapon and they made Spear the coolest melee possible for them. Idk whether to be happy or sad.

Ele sure looks good but as usual the ele in this clip did not even once leave her spot. Where is the ninja jumps? The leaps, the other amazing movmentskill that everybody else keep on getting? It is not possible that CmC forgot it again. I can not belive that, there has to be something cool in it then flashy animation, IT HAS TO!
