Absolutely the best kept secret in 1970's 'space rock.' Hugely inspirational in my not only my musical development, but in my life. Thank you Victor&Arthur!
Loved this since I bought the Album Journey and saw Arthur and Kingdom Come play live at HH Pavilion I shall never forget that concert and Victor has recreated that memory so well Thanks guys.
I first bought Journey by Kingdom Come back when it first came out (around 1973) and it has been one of my top 10 fav's of the 70's ever since! Oh, I have have always enjoyed it sans drugs. Funny story: I contacted Arthur via email years ago to ask if the Journey CD was even going to be remastered (since the first one sounds awful) and he said they were working on it but not sure when it would be released, then right after that I found a remastered copy and told Arthur and he responded that no one had informed him it was released..lol
In 1973, I was working in the Record Factory in Colma (where all the relocated SFO graves got moved to) and it was great: doing displays, managing 45s and shipping in imports. Rich Isaacs of the Wherehouse got to be a pal; he'd pass interested customers a list of music the should hear. The album Journey, by Arthur Brown's Kingdom Come was there under the heading: :"Like nothing you ever heard before!" So true.
Hello from north wales Saw them at my local college sept 1972 when I was 15 my second gig. Re bought all the K.C. Albums on C D still play them. Something about journey! Masterpiece, think it’s one of the best albums made! Arty and the lads peaked with that one!
No! 'Dark Side of the Moon' was an also ran. 'Journey' was without doubt the best album of 1973. It stayed on my turntable for months back then. This is a fantastic revisit of 'Time Captives' although I only discovered and bought your two later VP's Kingdom Come releases in the past month. All the best to you Victor. Any future projects planned with Arthur??

Yep...one of the best space/prog-rock albums of all time. Always wondered though..the song is called "Time Captives" but they sing "Time Captains."
I always thought that , but it's now confirmed they sing both "Captives " and "Captains"
Great version of a classic song. I still remember when i 1st heard that song at Slough Community centre. It was amazing then and its amazing now.
