Very interesting 👌 but I'm just wondering if I could obtain a description and preferably a video of how to remove and replace a fuel pump on my 1986 Mercedes 310 motorhome which has a 2.3 petrol engine.

Hello, thank you for our informative video. My car, W126 300 SEL, has a fuel release problem. That's why the car starts late when it is cold. I have a gasoline check valve. To which hose and in what direction should I attach this check valve?

I want to prevent gasoline from going back to the tank. So that the car will start when cold. In which direction and on which hose should I put the check valve?

Check valve is mounted on output side of each fuel pump

I put a full tank of gas in my '86 420sel. When I got home I gas was leaking from the trunk. I heard this i a common problem on these cars. If you ever fill your tank completely full it might leak into the trunk.

Not really. The worst case scenario is a dried out O Ring Part Number 107 997 13 45 for the fuel level sending unit on top of the tank.

I have a question, I'm experiencing hard first starts whenever the car has not been used for a few days. I purchased a fuel accumulator only to find out I don't have one. is this correct for a 92 400E 4.2? thanks in advance for any advice you share.

Hi Kevin, for how long have you had this hard start issue, like in days / weeks. Second, for how long do you have to crank the engine in seconds before it starts? How many miles does this car / engine have?
