How did you learn Vegas?
I've been doing video production since middle school, and in Highschool I started using Movie Studios to edit with. I went to College for Video Production Tech and weren’t happy with the “industry standard” editors I used there. I’ve used VEGAS ever since.

Brilliant, great tutorial. Just upgraded to VP19 and added the Vegas Post.
From Vegas Pro switched to After Effects. Not gonna try this but it's interesting watching haha!

Why should I use this when Vegas Pro basically does the same stuff?

Lot's of ideas, just no/low knowledge and negative talent. A good place to start MIGHT be with the different types of layers (point, grade, etc.). What they do and how and when to use them.

Idk if this is exclusive to a newer build than this tutorial but I found out I can use the hand drag tool by right clicking the preview window and dragging.

I use the sony vegas 17 but i can not find where can i use the Effects... :(
you have to have the Vegas Post package which comes with two extra software. It installs as one license which includes vegas pro 17 and the "open in effects" button.
Can you also use Vegas Effects as its own program? You said that you have to start in Sony Vegas, like if you wanted to make an intro could you just start with Effects and render it then you would have it for each time you need it?

It this better then adobe after efect?
Not better, but very close, very good, and a heck of a lot cheeper
@@TechDiveAVCLUB thank im starting my you tube channel for some reason every time I start a project in Vegas pro 19 it delect everything dome to my project even if I did saved but also the resolution 5120x1440p when ever I import a project to it ilthe previous window have alot lag or keep changing my previous frome full to haft when ever I pres play if just buggy

I need to find somebody who can make sophisticated 3D animation lyric videos for me using Vegas Effects so that once the complicated stuff is done, I can get all the raw data files and go and tweak the final video until my heart's content using my version of Vegas effects. @@TechDiveAVCLUB we can also get it for really cheap by first getting vegas pro edit from a humblebundle offer for like 20$ then upgrade to post for around 224$ (which I just did)

It's a version of hitfilm designed to work directly with the vegas workflow. It's a partnership between the companies
